I'm running the game just fine, besides the annoying ui hud which can't be turned off sadly. big step down from FC2.

Anybody noticing some sort of microstuttering in the game? Like I'm running at 60 fps, but it just feels stutterish, especially when I'm sprinting or jumping. Like it feels jerkish.

Ah just noticed some keymapping issues.

When I'm a passenger in a car i can get out only using the default interact key "e" but not
with the one i have mapped, strange that when driving myself it works ok.
And i just noticed that gliding controls are still WASD even though I'm using something else.

Darren, are you using the MaLDo tweaked SLI bits in inspector.
I think you should see better scaling than that.
On one 680 Im getting avg 60 fps with all ultra and 2 x AA.I am however using HBAO as I think it looks better as well as enhanced alpha coverage.
I am at 1920 x 1080 which is a little lower than you though?

i tried to play with calibration settings so darker colors (reduce AO) are brighter but it's not as good as SweetFX. I increased gamma and reduced the others but my fear is that it's going to look bland in daytime.

This game is FREAKING beautiful all maxed out !!!

Do have some performance issues with 310.64, but i hope it will be sorted with a patch or new driver ;0)

The wierd thing is that i still get FPS spikes even with lower settings ?

Even the sidequests and minigames are awesome. The stealth is the most pleasantly surprising part of the game. It works very well. My go-to weapons are a silenced sniper rifle and the bow. I also like the hunting a lot, not just in terms of the immersion factor but also what it offers from a gameplay perspective. The rewards are actually useful, unlike say Assassin's Creed 3

Running on Ultra at 1920x1680. Getting 50-60 FPS and it feels really smooth. So far I like it more then I did part 2. A lot of games have jagged edges on shadows that also flicker. This game does not suffer from that at all, they look great.

Hit Alt-Tab, then go in the Options in-game and set it back to fullscreen. It worked for me. Runs pretty well on my GTX570, 1080p maximum settings excepting msaa which is currently on 0 (haven't tried higher) and I get 34-45fps.

Ok, here's a little thing for you that I noticed. Seems rather odd.

Changing the water detail setting seems to have quite an impact even when no water is being rendered.

Have a look at these comparison pics. They are in pairs with water detail at lowest and the second is at highest. Note the frame rates. All shots are at Ultra detail, think AA is switched off but the only setting changed below is the water setting.

Water Lowest Detail A FPS 65

Water Highest Detail A FPS 51

Water Lowest Detail B FPS 72

I'm using the default SLI flag as I found the alternative one felt more stuttery, even though the framerate was 50-60 fps. I'm using 4xMSAA + HDAO with v-sync enabled and GPU frames set to 2 (presumably triple buffering?).

I have an odd issue with the aspect ratio though on my 1920x1200 16:10 screen as the radar/map doesn't look circular but more like a squashed oval. Seems that altering the FOV affects the radar/map, either squashing it vertically or horizontally depending on whether you use a higher or lower setting. Can anyone else confirm this as I find it completely bizarre that the FOV would affect the HUD in this way?

I played to the point where i collected all my mission assignments and so far so good. Visuals could be a little better - certain object textures, distant objects with DOF blur.

And it runs ok at these settings for me :)

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I never expected it to max out, lol not @ 1080P now, although im getting 45-50fps on avg. with 99% gpu usage all the time. If i lower to SSAO i get 50-65fps+. :D

Gpu OC 900mhz/2150mhz, heh 2200mhz OverClock caused gpu reset :S. I guess its the most sensitive game or nvidia tweaked 310.64 driver and now its very vram OC sensitive.

    You are right !!!

All my stutter problems are gone when water is set to medium, even though there is no water on screen ?

Hope they sort that out !

Can someone explain the following config options?:

    - GPU Max buffered frames

    - Vsync mode (1 or 2)

    - Alpha to coverage

    Thanks.

It took me a while to figure it out. It seems to be the biggest thing in relation to my framerate under SLI. Tweaking everything else doesn't do much (well, x8AA is a massive hit!), but tweaking water instantly gives a large boost to FPS.
