Good for you :wanker: Ah I see, probably due to TXAA that's why it's eating up GPU power a lot. TXAA is better than FXAA but with more performance hit right?
Well it's released in the US tomorrow so it's not like I'll get it early like these early store sales that a lot of people have gotten the game from, mostly it's just cheating or skipping the waiting line a bit with a VPN and unlocking it as soon as possible which is when the US release happens, somewhat of a gray area but it's fairly common. (A lot of digital distribution services do however ban if you use it to take advantage of regional pricing differences, I just use it to activate the game as early as possible so nothing has happened so far.) Can't play it though, need to finish Revelations, from what I saw of the X360 footage it's near impossible to follow the story without knowing the previous games. (Even if I'm quite far into revelations and have played the previous games there was a lot of information I didn't quite understand so I'll have to finish that up first though it'll take a while since the game can get very tedious.) EDIT: http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/ac3/AssassinsCreed3Updater1.01_WW.exe http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/ac3/AssassinsCreed3Updater1.01_RUS.exe Two patches, knew about the second one since the game leaked but after some tinkering I finally got the actual proper world-wide one. (Also I don't know if this corresponds to the first console update or the upcoming larger patch, I expect the former and then a 1.02 patch in a few days but we'll see.) EDIT: Unpacking it worked. Ubisoft Entertainment Assassin's Creed® III v1.01 - Input related adjustments - Minor fixes related to Abstergo Store menu - Voice chat problem fixed - Fixed Keyboard layout related issues - Fixed Mouse navigation in Character Selection screen - Various small Uplay related fixes and improvements - Fixed situations when links in News and Additional Content menus do not work properly - News Feeds improvements - Improvements made to limited mode - Minor fixes in Single Player cinematic - Improved Notifications functionality EDIT: Actually it doesn't correspond to either of those two console patches from what I found so maybe those are indeed already part of the game as of 1.00 and this is just a smaller hotfix.
Great game. Love it so far. But it has very bad SLI support. Maybe around 20-30% FPS boost compared to single gpu.
This game run very bad...In Boston i've about 45 fps, not so good for me. This also happens with medium details! Totally crap optimization
Perf Here the second one, The game run's between 120-38 fps maxed out i5 760 4ghz sli gtx 570 At the begining with desmond 120 fps And after in the opera and the boat, more like 60-70 fps And then i arrived in boston... and 38-45-60 fps ( Gpu usage 50% on both card . Cpu limited spotted):bang: The sli is working great though, with the beta driver 310.54 very good usage on both card ( when the game is not cpu limited ) ! But i can't play with 40 fps in the city, it's driving me mad... the game is so smooooth at 120 fps ! So in conclusion CPU limited/bottleneck, in city area, console port.... Like ACII-Brotherhood-Revelation PS : Sorry for my english. I think a 2500K or better at 4.6ghz will do the trick... But i'm sick of spending money to run's poorly optimized games so...
No. I've made some test with 1 gpu and the situation is even worst. Around the city and countryside frame rate goes under 45 :bang: ...with Sli enable 46 :3eyes: Maybe we have to wait better driver or patch...as always.
I've already 310.54 beta driver.. I dont think is a bottleneck problem, my i7 2600k @4.7 is ok in every games. This is a crap optimization...ubisoft suck.
I hope so, but meeeh i think it's a crapy console port, because it's only in city with peoples ect cpu related things. With a i7 2600K at 4.7ghz it don't work well?! ok we are screwed
I don't know i just rage quit the game when i saw the framerate in city. But on the boat and the opera and the desmond "cave" it was fine.
