that Aguero goal was offside. by half a foot. penalty? the ref was never gonna give it that late tbh. plus we see players wrestled to the ground at set pieces and nothing is ever given. it's become a standard nowadays.
Doesn't make it right. Never gonna give a penalty that late why? The 93rd minute when defenders will be their most desperate and most reckless to keep the ball out, else defenders would do anything they like in the box lol. Goal line official is less than useless. From what I saw at the end with the line imposed on the replay, it wasn't offside. prove it or we agree to disagree
they showed on sky that Dzeko's (was it Dzeko? Can't remember now) was just offside when the ball got passed to him. they paused the frame, rotated the camera and zoomed in a little bit and half of his foot was behind the offside line. It was clear to see on TV.
hehe... either way, apparently there is still a slim chance of man city making it out of this group. not sure how but apparently it's still possible.
The disallowed goal I think was just offside (think it was a foot), but damm the linesman must have good eyesight! I def think Man City were unlucky there and unlucky that the ref didnt give a pen which I think on watching it slowed down it was. But eclap is right because Balotelli was grabbing the defender as well. Again some refs might have given it. Maybe the lateness was a factor as well. I wonder if Suarez had been Balotelli would he have got it (and also if Balotelli hadnt been grabbing as well). But Man city shouldnt have let one of those goals in, first one from Ajax was a tad flukey though. Will Mancini go? If they lose a couple in the premiership i'd say could be on the cards although would be harsh I think.
What difference would it make whether Mancini stayed or left? After all the manager managing City just know how to spend money ... Who started between the defender and Balotelli I have no idea, but one thing for sure is Balotelli made the most out of it ... They got a late penalty against Dortmund, they should've learnt their lesson to finish teams off and not wait until the late second to try and earn a penalty.
Actually, I'd like to see that "penalty" incident from the beginning, if Balotelli grabbed him by his shirt first then it's a Ajax free kick and city definitely have nothing to complain about.
Ha bye bye City Saying that i have a feeling United will lose tonight..away at Braga, 9 points already..I expect to see a lot of youngsters! Also Benfica vs Spartak! Really important game for both teams!
Anyone see that Luiz Adriano goal....... disgraceful! Anyway, who here can see Roberto Di Matteo getting the "sack boot" soon. IMHO he is just a "rubbish" coach with good players?
