Why can't life be easy (question )

I have a question, for anyone who has a youtube page do you get copyrighted notices on some of your videos and what is the best way to handle them, instead of deleting them, i mean you're only suppose to delete them if the company contacts you through youtube email right?

So if Luc Besson contacts(the clip i uploaded was nikita from 1990) me :wanker: ( i wish he did ) i would have to remove the video right?

I wish life was easy , what i mean is is it really a big freaking deal to share some small clips online with friends, lighten up.

um but this doesn't answer my question for those who have copyright status. am i suppose to take it down when the person who owns the right contacts me?

yes, you have to delete it, otherwise they will do it for you i think, do it again 2 times and your account is deleted too

 

Confused by thread title and actual question

 

The "big deal" is that (in this case) Sony owns all rights to the material you posted and has a legal right to control (within reason) the distribution of said material. You have no legal right to post it without their consent. You also have no right to put YouTube in such a legal position as by posting it on the Youtube site, they're a willful party to copyright infringement....which they don't wish to be.

 

sigh, can't share small clips without some *******s whining about copyright material lol.
no wonder the world is so bad. guess i will remove it.

The funny thing not every clip i post from that movie or any other movie or tv show gets a copyright notice haha

 

If you frame is as critical review of the copyrighted material or as educational material it would fall under fair use.

 

if this makes your life hard then i feel really sad for you.....not,if someone put inappropriate pictures or a video of u...or better still your girlfriend on utube without permission you`d be ok with it?

 

How would you like it if people stole from you? Wouldn't you want something done about it?

 

1) you do not own the right therefore you can't share it

2) if life is EASY, it would be BORING

 

You do understand that not every clip i upload from that movie or tv show gets a copyright notice right? If i upload another clip from that movie i won't get a copyright notice.

Anyways, to answer your question if i made a movie or a tv show and someone share a few clips online to share with other people for entertainment purposes or to share to the youtube community about how cool a clip is, why would i care? There are more seriously stuff that people need to be concern about then some damn short clips on youtube lol

Has music in it and i got a notice about it. Nothing changed. The only thing is, people in Germany can not watch it.

You should be fine. If there is a problem YT will prob just take the vid off
