Check out the recent series named Jormungand. Second season is playing this fall too. If you love Black Lagoon, you will effing love it. I found myself comparing them so often. Jormungand is the story about a weapons dealer and she has a crew of bodyguards. The tight bond that they show between the characters is really what makes the show for me. Kind of like Band of Brothers. Man, Beserk near the end...I had to pause and say to myself "WTF DID I JUST WATCH?"
Me and my Flatmate are going through the Gundam series in time line order. Watched The original UC0078 series, now on to Stardust Memories (UC0083) then Zeta, Double Zeta and finally Unicorn! Will watch the Gundam series with their own timelines (Wing, Turn-A, Seed) at later times.
Rune Soldier only had 1 season, so I'm not sure what's going on there. The Rune Soldier series goes for as much as ~$150 new. It's one of those animes where not a whole lot of people knew about it due to lack of advertisement, so it didn't have a long shelf life, but was widely considered to be a gem.
"angel beats", somewhat simular but different "stein;gate" lol totally unrelated but this is DAMN good. really, too many good animes to list
Hello, Lavans. Guess I'm being taken for a real mug, then, as amazon.co.uk has at least six series of Rune Soldier for sale, and I've already ordered 1 and 3, which are already on their way, apparently. And I did pay about £5 for each of them, half of which was p+p. My main reason for ordering them is that they received good reviews.
I concur! I just watched the first 3 eps and it is just freaking epic. Loved the kick-in-the-sack part! Too bad there are only 12 eps right now since the series is still ongoing. Lol, no. Everyone has seen that already like 20 years ago. Still an awesome series and i mean the complete stuff, not only Z. My all time fav is Vegeta.
An anime named "Another". Might not be along the same lines as Death Note, but there is a lot of death going on. It's very similar to Final Destination. They really time it to make you really want to watch the next episode.
Full Metal Alchemist: another classic. Although I must admit I did prefer Brotherhood, it seemed to places quicker.
FMA:B does have a much faster pace, but it sacrifices character development in trade for it. I liked the story to FMA:B far better than FMA, but I felt that FMA had much deeper character development, especially since the story was far more focused on the taboo that Ed and Al committed.
too many good series to remember them all -.- meh but jormungand has been win. i do love sword art online. Brotherhood kinda assumed you had watched the first one tbh and went through the story which was in manga from the first one faster. First FMA anime did it's own half of the series whilst FMA:B went through the original story from the manga.
Those are the individual volumes. And yeah, there are 6 volumes in total, bringing the series to 24 episodes.
Yes! Sword Are Online is the hottest show right now this season. A short summary would be: people joined a new online game that uses a headset and they found out they can't leave the game until someone beats the last boss. If they die in the game, they die in real life. Overall a very sad show so far, but I do like it better than .dot/hack. Aweome fight scenes, animation, Asuna, and well if you like MMO's you'll like Sword Art Online.
Some good suggestions there. Ive seen, i think, the first season of black lagoon. Cant say i liked or hated it. It was "ok"
