Observing their performance in Far Cry 2, which also used the Dunya engine, posing off that AMD FX quad as an equivalent to the i7 2600, is a bit questionable. Ergo: AMD funded marketing nonsense.
congrats to Ubisoft for scrapping the DRM... at least until they come up with some other disaster. i'll support them until they do and while i'm looking forward to play FC3, i'm not totally convinced, compared to FC2 at least graphically/animation wise it looks like a step back. we'll see.
I agree with this. I liked how animation worked in FC2 but in 3 from what I've seen it looks a bit naff. I visually enjoyed 2 so hoping 3 is just as good.
it's quite possible that this time around the gameplay will be better but visually won't win any award, not exactly perfect but it's fine. gameplay should always come first, and while the graphics are not bad at all, better graphics usually makes the gameplay that much more enjoyable.
The graphics look better to me this time round. It is hard to compare as One, we are in an arguably "prettier" looking setting and Two, most of the footage is console based, though from reading up on the engine earlier today it sounds like the game is everything Far Cry 2 was and more. Looking forward to it more than any other game this year, AC3 is my second pic but that has been overdone abit too much recently, so gets rated down abit. Ironic, as while i never hated Ubisoft like others did, i still never expected their games to be the only ones i have any interest in, but the last 6 months of 2012 are particularly poor when it comes to games.
Looks like I got at least to Recommended-level specs coz I only got 6 GB RAM. I really must get me one of those GTX 660 to enjoy this game
Hmmm, those max specs looks good. GTX 680 or HD7970. I guess that is with in game anti-aliasing turned right up, you would probably get away with a lower card if you use SMAA etc.
