I like everything apart from the main banner, it just doesn't look as clean as the rest of the site IMO.

Much, much better then the old site

Also, much much -MUCH- better then your last updated revision, which made me want to seek out a social worker to help me through the trauma of watching one of my favorite websites Digg2.0 itself

Thanks for the comments everyone !

Moments ago I decided to go live with the new design. So the DNS will slowly propagate over the day to the new website. We'll tweak a little here and there over the weeks to come of course.

Let me just say that I so am very happy to see so many of you liking and approving the new design (for the biggest part with minor comments on the shadows etc aside).

This has been a child of very hard labor as not only the layout changed, all servers have been changed, the CMS software is new. It was a LOT of work and it ate away tremendous amount of resources and a lot of money.

I was just devastated a month ago to see the comments on that design. We listened to you guys and as such I decided to pull that design offline and go for this one.

Thanks again for your comments and feedback. From here on you'll only see more progression.

Congrats! The base is really good now and it's just small things that will improve it even further in the future.

I toned down the font shadowing to the bare minimum.. It looks much better now. It was something I had intended to do before we opened it to testing but it slipped past me.
I am very pleased as well with all the comments on it so far. Thanks for the input everyone...

Indeed very nice, so much better than the last attempt. Maybe adjust the header banner color tone a bit more to the whole page (a bit less blue, a bit more of grey). And I'd remove some (just some) of the white space inbetween lines (for example between "Read article" and the tagged line), not much so it doesn't feel clustered, but a bit so it doesn't look like there is so much space wasted.

I love the difference. Because no need to talk about last design. I was waiting seems whole my life to see some changes ;D

You simply need to leave scripting enabled -- a default browser setting.

loved it but can't the google advertisement at the top be moved somewhere else? I think it would be much better if the guru3d logo was at the top. Although it is not a big issue.

This is the best solution I have seen now you _want_ to change good old guru3d. Only 2 small issues which I hope can be put in.

    1) Latest news should be at top in the right side on the screen, not, as now, a number 3. There will be more "latest news" than "latest articles" over time, I think.

    2) Missing date at "Latest news" headlines in right sides menu.

Good color-palette, and I think the page has the width it should have. So all in all, thumbs up

it looks great much more professional. love it.

Although I agree with a few other posts, the add bar at the top maybe should be re positioned.

Maybe even with the same setout ast he forums where the add overlaps the banner.
