    Agreed.

Many games from Eastern Europe tend to be poorly optimized in my experience and Metro 2033 is certainly no different. I think I've only just been able to run the game at 1920x1200 with everything maxed out, including 4xMSAA and the ridiculous depth of field effect that drains performance but is otherwise barely noticeable when playing IMO. One can only hope that the sequel is better optimized and that is a better game too as the first was a bit of mixed bag... way too short, the A.I. was laughably bad and the combat was mediocre.

    Say what now?

I saw an alpha version of the sequel over a year ago that had better graphics than 2033 and was running on max on a single 590. Safe to say then that optimization is an important element of their development process nowadays.

That's true, I understand that, but the ambient occlusion flag that NVIDIA added isn't working properly for a number of people so that's one thing they could address through a hotfix or profile update via the NVIDIA Update tool.

I believe he is asking why you are not including the latest build of PhysX with the graphics drivers when the latest ones are available separately through your website.

The version included in these drivers is 0604, but the latest standalone installer is version 0613, and that was release before even the last beta driver.

The AO profile was developed before release, to support the game at launch as fans and users would want, but it appears something changed in GW2 that broke it, but only in specific places and with a particular set of graphics settings.

The team continue to investigate, and if all that's required is a profile fix I'm sure we'll look at releasing via NVIDIA Update. If it's anything more it would have to wait for a driver release.

    I will ask about this.

no no no no :( so much time waiting, so many letters to nvidia since first beta after 301.42 and forum threads posts. and POWER DIRECTOR 10 still broken its impossible to work any video ... it's so frustrating. im forced to choose between been able to work or been able to play since first release after 301.42

so again rolling back to 5 months old drivers to my software to work. and have bundle of problems with games..

common nvidia wth is going on.

Whenever my profiles have been automatically updated through the NVIDIA Update tool the text just says something vague like "Improvements and fixes for various games", something like that. I would prefer it if you actually listed what new games have been added and which ones have been updated like you do for the driver release notes.

    e.g.

    • Alan Wake's American Nightmare – added
    • Borderlands 2 – added
    • Darksiders 2 – added
    • End of Nations - added
    • F1 2011 – updated
    • F1 2012 – added
    • Final Fantasy XIV – updated
    • Nexuiz - added
    • Orcs Must Die! 2 – added
    • PlanetSide 2 - updated
    • Saints Row: The Third – updated
    • Shogun 2: Total War – updated
    • Sleeping Dogs – updated from latest beta
    • Spec Ops: The Line - added
    • The Secret World - updated
    • Torchlight II - added
    • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier - added
    • Tornado Force - added
    • Tribes: Ascend – updated
You could expand on that by stating what has changed such as AA/SLI flag updated, SLI enabled/disabled, Ambient Occlusion support added, etc., etc. That's what AMD do for their CAP release notes.

I heard back from the team: dates for both 0613 and 306.23 shifted and the two products were unable to be merged. Installing 0613 independently won't cause you any issues.

    Hey AndyB,
Any chance at getting a profile (SLI or otherwise) for the game Natural Selection 2?

I can force SLI using the bits from Dishonored but it would be nice to have official support considering the game is launching quite soon. Thanks fo any response, I appreciate it!

No support for the 460's? They're not listed in the supported gpu's list...

Nothing fixed over the beta set from what i can see. Still having issues with 580 sli and dell u3011 when 1600p full screen window or full screen is used. Only happens at native 2560x1600 resolution.

I know the studio closed down but is there any hope, we will get a Nvidia SLI profile for Prototype 2?
    Performance is Gash.

    Wow! that was quick LOL.
Well cool, we can install drivers and keep our current PhysX 0613.
    Cheers!

So far working fine on my GTX 460. The stuttering I was seeing in previous 3xx drivers thankfully seems to be gone.

    This driver breaks:
    - Abobe Flash videos - they flicker green continually
    - PowerDirector 9 video preview continually pauses
