installed the drivers, so far best drivers since the official 304.xx

2fps increase in Batman AC with PhysX High & DX11 maxed (3 runs)
2fps increase in Stalker bench (3 runs)
    5fps increase in Farcry2 (3 runs)
3fps increase in Crysis 2 bench (downtown bench - 3 runs)

lost 5 fps in Just Cause 2 bench though (all 3 benches).. but that's not a big issue when the fps is already in the 100+

image quality and performance is top notch. ;)

    bit surprised at this though...

*Legacy Support Notification: GeForce 6-series and GeForce 7-series GPUs will be moved to legacy support after GeForce R304 drivers. GeForce R310 drivers (the next major family of drivers) will not support these products.*

    Hi Guys,

I´m new to the forums but an old longtime Lurker on here.

I found just a weird issue with these new Drivers.

Installed it, setted it up in the controlpanel, started Darksieders 2, and Blackscreen, nothing works.

Alt/tabbed out, closed by task manager.

As it did these i noticed the my card was going from P1 state to only 405 Mhz then dropped to 202 and stays there. after closing a game it goes up to 405 then drops to 50 (idle).

Tested it with a few other games ( Batman AC, Just Cause 2, Dungeon Defenders) and it´s all the same.

Would be interesting if someone else gets similar problems.

€dit: Seems there was a fault causing by the installation, downloaded the international again from nvidia and everything is perfect ´til now.

    Greets

Huh? Sleeping Dogs runs like a dream. Are you trying to run with AA too high? try normal (fxaa).

Game does appear to be CPU limited. At least this is what evidence provided by GPU usage seems to suggest.

Reinstall and use of drivercleaner did not help but going back to 304.79 does. Weird how only 2560x1600 seems to be broken

I'm finally able to enjoy my gaming again,at long last a stable driver which i haven't seen for over a year,no more driver failure or constant reboot or driver downclocking,so nice to have constant 3d clocks back, performance is really good for my gt440 on xp. I develope retro 8 & 16 bit games for the pc specific for XP but for the last few driver releases both beta and whql have had pretty awful performance but now all is great again so back to work for me again.

yea, but I run 1680x1050 120hz LCD. I'm over 100 FPS, everything maxed even using high for AA but when it rains I can drop just under 100. I dont need vsync with 120hz LCD so I dont screw with vsync or adaptive vsync. If I still with normal for AA in this game, yea it runs 100+ all the time.

I don't need 1080p, I love being able to max eye candy in game and run 100+ fps still ;)

Probably smoothest running game I've had in a long time. Zero issues.

Does AMD acknowledge their CPUs are just sadly underpowered when compared to their Intel counterparts? Congratulations on saving a few bucks going AMD, welcome to hell.

Sleeping Dogs is one of the better recent ports and runs great.

AA is on normal and getting good fps, the problem is that terrible stuttering when rotating the camera and turning corners. Frame rate doesn't dip during stutter. This is a common issue for a lot of nvidia owners.
