NVIDIA today launches the GeForce GTX 660 Ti. With most factory higher clocked products this is going to be one heck of a graphics card in the 300 USD/EUR segment as they card closes in on the GeForce...

    Great performing mid-range cards.

Very nice performance for the money... With the exception of a few games that demand sheer brute power, this is the sensible choice (for most people's needs) for 1080p gaming.

Exactly what i wanted from this card, pretty much as quick as last gen's high end and quicker when clocked, system upgrade due i think.

EDIT - Well it was until i saw the prices, UK gets ripped off big time....

The 670 remains strong in the series for price /performance, however the 680 ain't really that far ahead of this 660ti which is a shame, at least the 680s are falling in price somewhat (680 lightning now £440) so yeah, ..wonder how this driver performs, i'm looking at a new card beginning of next month - still going with lightning but will sure check out 2x 660ti option for my new z77 mobo.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Ti Windforce OC review pages 5 first table it say 670 where it should say 660

and a little question, most of the load noise rating are the same for the cards but do any of them have and funny tonne to them, if i remember correctly the msi cooler on one of the other review's had a funny tone t it?

We have yet to see Optimized Drivers, which is gonna take another 2-4 months untill they got everything out of it.

Thanks, altered. As to your question no, these cards are really silent and no pitching or whining noises. Currently I am testing a reference design cooler, and that one (albeit silent) has a bit of a hum. But the custom cooled designs as tested in today's reviews are great.

Default RPM for GPUs (unless stated otherwise in/for the overclock segment).

I find it *very* interesting that 3-way SLI is possible with those puppies. That's highly uncommon for midrange, and 3 of these can potentially leave a GTX 690 in the dust, while costing the same.

These things are 300 ****ing dollars? I just don't remember cards being this expensive...I can't justify that.

Me neither. But I'm 100% sure market supply/demand will justify the price.

In the end AMD will get *#@% with NV & TSMC laughing all the way.

$400 if you're in the UK.

Think I'll wait for a price drop.

£250 is a little expensive since you can pick up a GTX670 for about £280.

Almost all of the cards seem to be shipping with a free copy of Borderlands 2 as well, at least in the UK.
