why aren't these up on AMD yet if they are WHQL? And I cannot see the release notes without some kind of log in.

Well... I can't even get 3dmark11 to start the first test without getting a CTD with a driver stopped working balloon. :bang:

Sound via HDMI is still broken too.

i have a tablet pc with 4550 and intel switchable and cant get any new amd drivers to work in win8 and keep the switching.

win 7 with 12.6 legacy and intel switching works fine, but not with win8.
To make it work have to rely on 2 year old original driver.

Else win 8 on a tablet works fine (no wacom drivers though) not too happy with amd decision after waiting for win 8 this long.

Waterfox is x64. Flash Protected Mode does not work on x64 versions of Firefox and thus, you wouldn't notice a few specific problems, anyway.

    blue screen

Hi guys, I spent last 3 hours to realise and confirm that this driver, 8.982 is causing blue screen on 7470m when NOT on dynamic GPU. I installed it at least 5 times, but always same result, blue screen on atikmpag.sys ... now I run all software from latest update, but 8.981.2 driver and it's fine...

These are playing nicely with GuildWars 2. You still need to have v-sync enabled to eliminate texture corruption. They looked to be maybe 5fps slower than 12.7s though. The gameplay was butter smooth though with everything maxed. 60+fps

So I forgot to simply turn ULPS off... heh. They work pretty much how the July 19s worked. No sound and good performance.

At least I am not getting the GSOD anymore. Even though I have no audio at all. :bang:

Other than in full screen games...

3Dmark11 with crossfire/SLi setups usually requires two reboots to work properly, its 3Dmark.

They aren't up yet, but it would be your AMD developer login.

Flash Protected Mode still works on 64-bit browsers, as long as the OS is Vista or Windows 7.
Where it doesn't work is on Windows XP.

And as I've said on a post before the one you quoted, I have no problems with Pale Moon either.
Granted, I didn't specifically say with Flash, but the general usage is the same as Waterfox since it's what I'm using on my development desktop (32-bit Windows 7).

Don't blame AMD for that. I have the exact same problem on my other PC with my 570. It's Firefox - i stopped using it because of such problems now everything is fine.
