Yeah the early missions are full of these little HUD tutorial messages. :)

Also nice Skyrim images, Vibrant ENB I guess but I don't think I've seen it looking quite like that before so it might be something else.

yeah kinda is over the top but nowhere near as horrible as all those "make your eyes bleed" Skyrim sshots we keep getting in this thread.

Nice one whitelightning. Have you tried Federelli's Zelda OOT textures? don't think you are using them looking at those images.

I also kept a list on my pc, lol.

I also still have all the textures and most of the plugins so let me know if you need them and I'll upload them to a host ;)

And guess what I was playing earlier :)

Thanks for the info. unfortunately most links are dead since they are linked to megaupload. Could you please upload the zelda textures for me ? preferably from ocarina of time and majora's mask. much appreciated!

I did try some texture packs, but could not get them to load with newer versions of pj64 so i would like to give these a try.

Im running the d3d8 (jabo) plugin at 2896x1810 with 8xaa atm since other plugins would not allow me those settings or would cause blur when using higher resolutions. this one is quite crisp.
Only downside is playing at 20fps though , but i got used to that :)

Just wanted to check for any updates to textures and plugins and ensure everything was working. Found updated textures and plugins all online and also tested it all. Here's a step by step.

Download p64 + plugins + shaders (modified rice plugin) from here (instructions on page)
    http://www.lanpartyguide.com/zelda/shaders.html

    Ocarina of time:

Links to texture pack (torrent but working /fast) as well as installation instructions. You might need to use these if running master quest version otherwise only instructions are helpful.
    http://www.lanpartyguide.com/zelda/pj64.html

Links to OOT textures version 6 (many hosts /tested). I used the direct download link (700mb)
    http://www.emutalk.net/threads/5148...unity-Retexture-Project-V6-Development-Topic?

Place extracted texture files into folder called 'THE LEGEND OF ZELDA' in C:\Program Files (x86)\Project64 1.6\Plugin\hires_texture.

After starting project 64 and setting it up after following instructions above be sure to check the 'load high res textures option' from the graphics settings.

    Majora's mask

Download textures and join using 7zip or other joiner. (400mb)
    http://www.emulation64.com/files/info/1076/

Nothing else needs changing should work with same plugin settings as above. Just place the textures inside a folder called 'ZELDA MAJORA'S MASK' and at the same location i.e C:\Program Files (x86)\Project64 1.6\Plugin\hires_texture. You will know the textures are working as they will load when pj64 starts. You can also confirm the texture packs are using the correct folder name by checking the game name displayed at the top of pj64 while it is running.

Texture folders should look like this

I tried this, but for some reason my emulator freezes right after it's done loading the hi res textures. If I turn off loading the high res textures, it has no problem. Any idea what might cause this? I followed every step in the guide.

thanks for the links blackzero, think that community mod will do me just fine.
just too bad rice doesnt have a ratio setting though.

Play around with the rice plugin + shader settings, also make sure it's set up correctly from the instructions above that part.

Well I just chose the resolution and it seems to have done the rest, looks fine in widescreen to me. Also yeah the community mod is a continuation of the same mod I had before (2008).
