not sure if anyone noticed but Jacob from EVGA just tweeted yesterday: " Jacob Freeman @EVGA_JacobF @FaTaL1h Yup! You can expect to see a 670 FTW 4GB soon. " im sure a lot of us has been wanting this! imma be doing a step-up to this for sure. unless someone wants to buy my 670 ftw 2gb.
Hooray! I hope soon means SOON!! Otherwise I'll have to just keep saving money.. and then have enough saved by release date to outright SLI them and be too compelled to do so xD
He also said "there will be no plans of a GTX 670 4gb FTW" :3eyes: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1589761&high=670+4gb+ftw
that is correct but he said they had no plans CURRENTLY (didn't say never) but it can change, this was a while back. the twitter update was from yesterday. so it makes sense.

Speaking of new graphic cards, is there any further rumor or information about release of the Kepler 110 card(orginally was supose to be the 680). I am trying to hold out for two of these.
I'm eager to find out more about this card too. It's supposed to be called 685 or 780, no? Anyway, I plan on selling my notebook and buying myself a desktop PC, and me and some friends did some research which parts to choose. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ahr1B9p9IA8wdHF1WXQzQ254cldac2dqUGlyRTg0Nmc Could anyone here please take a brief look to confirm they are compatible with eachother? Also, would you change anything? For example pay the extra for a 3930x + Z79 Mobo?
All I have to say about this is, "Why?!?!?!?!?!" 4GB on a 256bit memory bus 2GB can be utilized but no way 4GB can work. Only way I see it working is with two in sli.
THE WAIT IS OVER!!! http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=04G-P4-3673-KR&family=GeForce%20600%20Series%20Family&sw=
I happy with the 670 I just ordered http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-...-gddr5-gpu-915mhz-boost-980mhz-cores-1344-2xd Bring on Tuesday!
Finally a nice 670 with more than 2gb vram, hehe less than a fortnight then i'm gonna hit the 'buy' button. *The gigabyte 690 is around £750 now, so for me it'll probably be between these two, and perhaps the classified.
my 2x 670 FTW 4GB's are coming in tomorrow will be installing my 680 waterblocks on them and also installing the backplates with Fujipoly thermalpads for the extra vram chips on the back. replacement ax850 came in yesterday, cleaned up cable management a bit, wired in new LED lighting, more ram coming in tomorrow to fill those 2 empty ram slots.... it's gonna be a great day. pictures to follow!
