Me and a friend of mine are looking for a game that has fun co-op or revolves around co-op. Any recommendations?

Borderlands is one of the best co-op games I've ever played. Can get it dirt cheap now with all DLC.

Have to be some of the best fun I've had in co-op lan play for a fps and I still play it quite often with a couple of m8s when we can get together.

If you're into RTS titles you can play the campaigns of the following games in co-op:

DoW II (As well as the two expansions)
    Red Alert 3
Supreme Commander 2 (Could be wrong about this one, so double check)

DoW 2 plays a little more like an action RPG than a full blown RTS in some respects, with its two expansions there's plenty of content.

AlienSwarm (free) seriously if you havent played it then play it. Its fun.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - yeah i know its old but its quite fun.

Gears 3 - if you have an Xbox

It makes me mad that most companies are focusing on online play and not adding co-op (Local) for gamers. Even on consoles its becoming a trend. :3eyes:

Portal 2 and BF3 have interesting co-ops. Not fleshed-out enough, but not bad.

BF3's only has six levels, but on hard it'll feel like a lot more.

Got Portal 2, but the other two I haven't so I am going to youtube them lol

I am going to look up the first two. Never got into Supreme Commander.

AlienSwarm is free? Didn't know that. Going to try it out. I remember Rainbow Six Vegas 2; played the hell out of it lol

My friend don't have xbox :(

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Have a decent list of co-op games to look at now :)

Call of Duty: World at War
    Resident Evil 5
    Lost Planet 2
    F.E.A.R. 3
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
    Bulletstorm

^These are my favorite co-op games.

    These also have co-op:
    Call of Juarez: The Cartel
    Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas
    Syndicate
    Damnation
    Dead Island

Also, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has good co-op, but it's local (1 PC, requires gamepad for 2nd player).

LEGO games like Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman, Lego Pirates of Caribbean etc.

same screen co-op, 2 gamepads recommended.

eg. in lego Batman one player can be batman and another robin, work together to defeat the enemies and solve the puzzles.

Speaking of open world, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is a lot of fun too. Online services are down, but you can still play it via LAN emulator.

Wasn't this game full of bugs and glitches?
I can recall playing it with a buddy, until we got enough of the frequent hiccups the game had.

Rage has a fun albeit short co-op mode.
