nVidia Geforce 7600 GS Upgrade

Hi,

I have a Geforce 7600 GS and i have been looking to upgrade it.
I was wondering what could replace this?
Budget is not a limit in the list, I would just like to know what is compatible with it.

your motherboard has to have at least 1 PCI express 2.0 bus.
If it doesn't you'll have to change it aswell

Yes...If you have an i7 then you more than likely have a PCIe x16...I have never seen a i7 mobo with AGP...Could be though?

yes as long as u have a PCIE 16x slot which we are guessing u do what motherboard do u have that will tell the whole story

 

any card thats out now would be leaps and bounds ahead of what you have so it really depends on how much you want to spend.

You also have to make sure your case has 2 slots open @ the pci-e slot, I have seen some slim computers with i7's but only give you room for a single slow GPU. I had a 7600GS at one point and it was a single slot card.
