First I've ever heard of it....at least from an nV driver anyway.

I switched from the international version to the english version and it seems to have fixed the shutdown bug on my system. Only time will tell if it creeps back.

Thanks -Tj- for the Deus Ex: HR fix. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I use this fix on Saints Row: The Third also, and it seems to fix the low frame rates issue I was getting with these drivers. I haven't experience any shutdown bug as of yet.

Like some others reported, I'm getting the flickering/disappearing cursor in some games or apps. Back to 301.42.

It's the 1st time I've ever had the shutdown bug and it was right after I installed these drivers on Win 7 64-bit. Not sure why Nvidia drivers would cause such a problem but I'm putting up with it because the drivers are solid. Just have to remember to hold down the Power button on my case for 5 seconds after shutting down so it doesn't reboot.

*Update* - I'm getting a Leader screen crash with Civ V: Gods & Kings. Apparently it's a common issue with these drivers.

EVE Online also having flickering mouse cursor, i guess its because its DX11 game, at least if you have DX11 card.

I am having a weird SLi issue. The problem is, on non-sli games, the games are accelerating on my second card and not on my first. That is really weird. Anyone have the same issue?

Are you sure it isn't a case of the second GPU actually being GPU1?

What software are you using to check it? I understand that both Afterburner and Precision don't always detect them the right way round and that sometimes GPU1 is shown as GPU2 and vice versa. I know I had that issue when I had HD 5870 CFX unless it has since been fixed.

Same here no problems at all not sure why some are having issues like the shutdown bug but then again every system is different and i always install the us version of drivers not international.

I'll be moving on to test the new beta drivers. If the issue persists, I'll check the softwares too.

Is there a driver or system that WoW doesn't crash on? Personally not my style of gaming entertainment.

I see a lot of people talking about a "shutdown bug".

I am using 304.48 and yesterday my keyboard and mouse suddenly stopped working. The lights on them were flashing. I was streaming video and it kept working. About a minute later windows shut down.

    Event log showed this:

The process C:\Windows\system32\winlogon.exe (COMP) has initiated the power off of computer COMP on behalf of user Comp\Ed for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found
    Reason Code: 0x500ff
    Shutdown Type: power off

I apologize if this is unrelated to the driver. I am really hoping it IS the driver!

I also definitely get the flickering mouse bug! I'm on a GTX 570.

This hasn't happened again since going back to WHQL. Hoping it was 304.48 that caused it. If it happened to anyone else I'd love to hear about it.
