Okay, well I think it's still using the same .dll...

Make sure Chrome is using the flash that comes with Chrome (gcswf32.dll) and disable any others you may have.
You can do that by typing chrome://plugins

All the 12.6 beta drivers for me are flicker central...

    :(

Yeah experiencing these AERO glitches as well (probably more-so than most due to some WindowFX dwm thingy) The flickering seems to go away by changing the refresh rate but it's becoming a PITA. Also, scaling is borked. Other than that, an excellent set from what I can see when it's not buggin out...

I might have to wear the hax0r hat today and see if I can overwrite the 2d dll(s) with the one's from june 4th.. (or just rollback) Can't complain as this is a first for me (for aero glitches), let alone it being a beta. 12.6's have been pretty good to me.

Seen a few ppl mention gpu scaling...i see the option to do this in catalyst control panel, my question is it worth turning on?

    I have a dell u3011 2560x1600 panel...thanks.

These drivers screwed my Crossfire performance on Arkham City and Max Payne... I'm going to the 8.98 again

Don't use this driver if you like saving custom profiles. After a while your profiles will become corrupted. The AMD released 12.6 beta drivers do not have this problem.

Hi :) So yea these drivers give me a kernal panic with a 6620G, sorry :( I installed everything in them but the video driver.

For anyone needing to fix theirs just go into safe mode and rollback the driver for the video to the previous version, it'll be fine on reboot.

No Aero glitches here, win + tab works fine

My temps with these drivers are either higher, or it might just be because of the weather, but I've been reaching 85C at times, where my max in the past would be 79C

Unfortunately for us 7970 owners, I got the same random crashes I got with the official 12.6 beta when using flash or internet of some kind. The screen just goes black, then the fan practically explodes on the card.

Apparently Flash Player 11.3.300 is not working correctly with some ati cards.

    Try Flash Player 11.2.202.

I'm Ok on Flash Player 11.2, Flash 11.3 crashes a lot on my system (Win7SP1 x64, HD5770 stock clocks).

Mine is working better with 12.6beta (official), better means : sometimes randomly get freeze when playing game. After that, I run ACTION CENTER for help but got the message "PC HAS NOT PROPERLY SHUT DOWN".
I can't find any dump file in memory dump folder but I guess I got problem with BSOD 116 and 117.
    Anyone can help me ??

It's no longer just a matter of making an .inf file they have removed any 4xxx components from the actual dlls and sys files.... so you'll just have to wait for AMD to produce a newer driver for your card

ok thanks man i have to wait thanks anyway for your reply

This is the buggiest driver I've ever run into during 3 years of being with AMD. All sorts of issues. Avoid like a plague.

Yeah it has millions of problems (which you won't name of course) and AMD sucks blablablabla.

Very informative. Why don't you go back in the closet?

For what its worth; Does do 'wonders' here on my 5670.
Better AF for sure en FPS same or slightly better.
Again, seems to mostly benefit the HD 5000 Series?
    Just my 2 cents here

And yet I have no problems. So either your machine is "broken", or these drivers are just good for my card (and perhaps other 5xxx series)
