It's June 4 for me, but no update for BF3 yet. Really hate living in the future. lol.

I am. I had every intention of getting all the DLCs for this game anyways. This package just makes it cheaper than getting the DLC individually. So that's a win in my book. :nerd:

 

I'm not planning to get it but I'd also be hesitant due to server owners.

It may be different in this case but just from experience it's always much harder to find a DLC server full of people which is running the settings you want and like.
It worked out fine for B2K as so many people had it and the playerbase was still huge. Typically it would get worse and worse with each new DLC you add to the formula, I even know many servers that disabled DLC over time as there were too few people having it.
If you don't know a server owner or have the information at least some of your favorite servers will be using the DLC I'd at least wait for a reaction once it hits the shops.

 

TBH I think that's why they are doing a bundle of the all the dlc at a decent price and extra's.

The more people they get to have all the dlc the better.

 

im pretty sure i'll be getting it. i just hope theres a discount for those that already have B2K. dought i'll play close quarters much, but i want the weapons.

Well I click 'Check for update' on Origin and it came up with preparing download and then did nothing...

 

Damn double post. Can you delete these?

 

Origin is still telling me that the game is up to date, and apparently Battlelog will be down until 20:00 GMT?

 

It's because close quarters/ premium is getting released later on today so servers updating too and new stuff for battlelog.

 

Today!! I didn't know it was available that soon?Thought it was end of June.Wonder if there will be much content on day of purchase?

Does your progression save when you lose connection due update downtime?

I was playing on a 1000 ticket server and had unlocked some attachments and lost connection near the end of the round..

 

Hmm, perhaps a major change of interface is coming?.

I really don't like how they are withholding access to our MP game so they can reopen it during the E3 show - from that it's clearly ready now but they just aren't opening it up yet.

 

I think you'll probably lose it... there's been a lot of lost XP stats recently, I've unlocked the same attachment 3 or 4 times recently.

Yeah, the downtime sucks.. more than 6 hours too ..for all the money they make off this game this shouldn't happen imo.
