Why do I need an inf? What's missing from this driver? Thanks.

So the driver installer recognises your card. otherwise it wont proceed.
It contains the cards signature in the inf.

Others are reporting that they're better for the new Kepler cards and reduce the v-sync stuttering issue but that doesn't affect you.

Personally, I'd say don't bother as I believe they pre-date the v301.40 drivers as they don't contain games fixes that those drivers do. Also, they're from a different driver branch and intended for developers only. I'd recommend you install the v301.42 WHQL certified drivers instead.

I havent had any problems with these drivers.

    except

I was playing some old games from 1999 and used FXAA on them and wow blured textures. I played no one lives for ever and all the textures blended together. lol

This driver is working fine . I haven't got any RSOD after closing APB reloaded with my GTX 680. it's more stable than 301.42 though. that's all.

I can confirm these DO NOT work with the new W8 Release Preview; they don't even install.
They were working on 7SP1 though; however I noticed quite a few glitches, including vertexes that didn't get textured etc.
This might just be me, however.

Enable testmode aka disable driver signature enforcement.

With these drivers, I cant run the same stable max OC than with the 301.42. Weird.
BUT the framerrate in games is really solid.

Cant wait for the proper June release.

just switched to nvidia 680 , are these drivers better than the oficial ones ? ( oficial ones are numbered lower than these but have newer release date than these and its abit confusing :S )

Either these or 301.42 best currently for 680. Different branches of code, this one may have bugs.

Well you guys can donate me a high end card. I don't know when I'll be able to buy another - if ever. (I am a Greek in Greece is this tells you something)
