WTB June preview

So slow these days...
Whatever happened to beta's, embedded, preview's, RC's..
Thats part of the fun, owning AMD GPU's, dont take that away from us

bit of a dry spell at the moment.

I assume official 12.5 whql should be out soon.

 

i believe there was a post on AMDs site a while back that said they were going to crack down on the leaks.

Perhaps the new CAT team is very good at keeping the lid on things.

 

I'd prefer if they were good at resolving issues and bugging out their drivers.
Also, why do you assume they have a new CAT team? Do they?

 

Last I heard they made some changes last year. Not sure if they wiped whole or most of the team, or just a couple persons :3eyes:

 

yes, they canned everyone in december and hired a new team

 

Wow! That's a serious move. What about the head of the department? Did his/her head roll too?
Just curious as it always seems to be the worker bees in these situations while the big guy comes our smelling like a rose.

I believe catalystmaker (Terry Makedon) is no longer with the cat team, but hes still with AMD..

terry announced he's moving from head of cats to fusion months before the move (which happened over a year ago), andrew never mentioned a thing & is still posting driver info on twitter, so who am i gonna believe....



& the driver team has offices all over the whole world, look at the amd job boards
