framerate limiter? I have asked this question about. Do you mean in the driver or an external program?

EDIT:my brother reported freeze in bf3,never happened before, most likely a downclock issue back to 301.40

Slower? Only in the SLI or even Single-GPU?

Well nvidia stated frame limiter will be available by 3rd-party tools.

I had to roll back to 301.24 BETA drivers due to 301.42 WHQL giving me Red Screen of Death on my GTX680 SLI every time I played a game (Battlefield 3) and exited Red Orchestra 2.

Went back to 301.24 BETA all is good now.

I've installed these twice, and I have the same issue in Risen 2. The fps goes down to literally 1-2. I install the previous version, and everything is fine. What the hell?

These drivers are working properly with my 560 Ti Twin Frozr II (which is OCed by default).

    1) so now that FXAA is included in the Nvidia Control Panel does anyone know what level of FXAA it uses- Low, Medium or High?...it most games that have FXAA in the game settings it lets you set the degree of FXAA but in the Nvidia Control Panel there is only the option to turn it On or Off

I heard that FXAA High was the equivalent of 8X MSAA so that is why I was wondering what level it uses in the Control Panel...anyone know?

    2) also when enabling FXAA in the Nvidia Control Panel do I need to disable AA in the individual game's graphics settings?

    @TitusTroy
Well, I've seen the excuse used that the driver implementation of FXAA is different from the injectors and ingame options.
    BUT
All taken from www.Geforce.com. NVidia seems to like comparing and referring to 4xAA all the time, so I would think it's on par to that.

And you should probably disable other forms of AA, you are supposed to use it that way. But I have seen other people combine it and not have problems.

    Yes
The help description for FXAA states that it can be used in conjunction with other antialiasing settings. It's just a matter of personal preference.

It comes as an auto-extracting archive. You don't need to unzip it yourself.

Just tried this ones and all was good, watched some movies, played some Sniper Elite V2, all fine. Till I got this weird GPU behavior and I was doing nothing but chatting. Aero went off by the way. Think I'll stick with the 301.40.

Try using a different archiver. If that still doesn't work, try redownloading.

Try to download it from Nvidia instead.
