Chillin how did you know I am a retired Sergeant Major, (1971 thru 1996) or Viet Nam thru Desert Storm/Shield, thanks for your concern but once again one wonders why you don’t follow your own advice. Once again you can tell the true nature of a person by the way they try and force their opinions and beliefs on to others. After 25 years of protecting freedom, I am still amazed when people act just like the ones I defended them from.

The point of this forum is to help one another, not to force ones opinions and beliefs on others. People come here to find help, fixes, solutions, and information, and share experiences they have had with their Nvidia products, not for open social opinions, and beliefs. There are many socially opinionated forums out on the net where you can sound off with all the “IF it where me”, “I would”, “you should”, “Vote this way”, and “I belief that you should” that you want.

I think you took my comment the wrong way, I wasn't telling you to do anything. I was just saying that if I wasn't a student currently and had some spare change/hardware I wouldn't mind donating some; it was meant as a humorous self-depreciation of my current state.

Can anyone look for the branch of this driver? I have better experience with 300_xx_xx than 301_xx_xx, and wonder about this driver. I don't want to go through all the hassle of installing/uninstalling drivers just to find out its from 301 branch.

I find it generally okay personally, and certainly no worse than any other forum... in fact I've always found people there very quick to help, but maybe your experience has been different.

This recent round of graphics card releases has stirred the blood more than usual.


Edit: Should also mention these drivers seem fine to me... only tried two sets with my new card, and both seemed the same, so I've kept these.

 

I left there years ago, i bet even today, those 2x big Nvidia fanboys are still spouting the same old crap

Tested the drivers here, no problems whatsoever, no 3d clock problem, and running smooth!
