Yeah, you may be right and it's still unbelievable Intel ****ed up this bad.

Blaah... My runs cooler than 2600K at same clocks 4,3GHz. I do not care about extreme overclocking so all this talk is irrelevant to me.

Im not having any heat issues. I have mine at 4.7 ghz 1.25v and in prime95 my temps go upto 70c, I think I could push it more but like the performance as it is. I'm using a noctua nh-d14 to cool it.

This is my first post but having been reading these forums for a long time but wanted to share what my 3570k does.:)

How long was p95 running when you took that screen shot. If you can post a as at least 40 minutes in to see your Max temp

As you asked for a screenshot It wasn't long..... I can't have it running for ages as I'm busy doing stuff but last night I had it on for 4 hours and it got upto 74c but only for a few seconds. I know its hard for you to believe as I'm new here but I'm not sure what I would gain from lying. If I have time later I will post another one, I think I have just been lucky but I'm not the only one. One thing you may notice is I can run mine at lower voltage than most which would explain why my temps are ok.

And it only went up 4c briefly to 74c from 1 minute of p95 at 70c?

This was for about 30 min on my break, sorry I couldn't do it for longer but some of us have to work:3eyes:
    Yes.

What a welcome..... you guys sure know how to make new members not want to post on here, I'm still confused why you would think I would lie when it doesn't do anything for me. I just thought I would post to show not all of us are having problems.

Is that the latest build of p95? And what test did you select. I don't know what part of the world you are from but it is Sunday here, and thus I have off unless I want double time.

I'm from UK and I only get time and a half but i'm working from home so not so bad..... It is the latest build as I only downloaded it 2 days ago as this is a new build. I'm not sure which test it was sorry as I was rushing, I clicked torture test and then run.

I can promise you guys I'm not lying, this is my first Intel cpu for years as I always bought Amd cpu's... I was as shocked as you guys as I had read all the reviews and posts, like I said It seems to be ok at higher clocks with low voltage compared to the review chips which is why the temps are lower.

You can still download the older builds of p95 what version do you have? If its the latest build congrats. P95 blend Max memory is what I use to stability test

Ok thats fair but it made me feel unwelcome, I know lots of people lie online but I wouldn't have anything to gain and its not like I'm saying I have a 7ghz oc:giggle2:
