    no catalyst version number

Hi,i was wondering somebody can help me with this.I instaled 12.4 catalyst driver, but there is no name of the catalyst version in information/software table like it should be,it should be 12.1,12.2...It has Driver Packaging Version,Driver Packaging Version,Provider,2d driver version…it just dont have catalyst version 12.4 written. Is that normal cause drivers are solid,no bugs or anything but im just curious.

Any one else having problems with 12.4

12.4 seemed ok for a day or so then, it started to intermittently BSOD.

I finally went back to 12.3 because I could not even use the PC to track down the error since it would constantly BSOD on me.

Every time it was the same sys file atikmpag.sys

you dont need the cat version #, or you can always write it in yourself

you probably had 12.1 previously installed, it seems for a few people, 12.4 whql doesnt write the value, so you can change it yourself

    no 12.1 instaled before

I didnt have 12.1 previously instaled,i did clean instal of windows 7 before that ,then i downloaded drivers and instaled.Still catalyst version number wasnt there. And how to change it to have catalyst version number 12.4?Is it something to do in the registry, although i dont like to mess with those things.

No no, Im talking about me, I have put that picture because that's what my shows me the CCC.
I have had installed 12.1, and after installing 12.4, and still shows me the version 12.1, but the package of 12.4.

    Hi,

I never could get 12.4 stable on my machine. Maybe it broke crossfire or trifire with eyefinity but now that the new caps are out wonder if that will help or will it be another complete waste of time?!
