Funny: First time I've ever had to restart any, let alone all, of my monitoring apps with this install (other then, you know, havin' to reboot); All three of Speedfan, Afterburner, and nVidia Inspector had to be restarted in order to stop reporting zeros for all the clocks'n wot-not.

sounds like its not worth downloading for Gtx680 users, i think these are just the 301.10 with added compatibility for 400/500 series.

the release note didn't mention the gtx680 at all.

anyway, if anybody with a 600 series card tries the drivers, let me know.

Here is the adaptive vsync try 15mins gameplay caspian 64 player. 1680x1050 all low settings , no aa , no postaa , 16xaf , fxaa from driver (not sure its working on bf3, ingame postaa seems better) . U guys can call me crazy but bf3 now way smoother for me than before.

Yah kinda surprised at that. Hopefully the next driver has some GTX 680 improvements. Specifically I'd love if they can get Batman: AC performing a bit better. I have way too many drops below 60fps and the game hardly stresses the GPU at all. :(

Dude, you've got PC fail. No boot drive has nothing to do with your GPU drivers.

No problems here with them... at all.

    Confirmed, scaling is broken.

Well, it never really worked properly but it's worse now. Fixed by rolling back.

DX11 sucks in this game... it does nothing but drop performance.

Yah i ended up turning off DX11 and just using DX9 Extreme setting with PhysX set to High.

I know if I turned off PhysX I'd run at 60fps no problem, but I'd think a GTX460 would be able to run PhysX no problem.

    1. we've all installed it without an issue.
    2. Your HD disappearing has NOTHING to do with GPU driver.

If the driver was a problem we'd all have a problem with it.

Verify other drivers again and be sure to test with the same settings to make sure the load (power use) is similar.
Problems have to start some time.

you're the one who proly broke it by needless complaining in the 1st place, because it has worked flawlessly for the ages :)

    1920x1080 natural resolution - 2560x1440, 3200x1800, 3840x2160@50Hz all worked like a charm

but now they have *fixed* it
    2560x1440 still works all right

    I'm a bit scared. When my GTX 680 arrives, I can't use 285.79 drivers any more. :/

By the way, is there a way to exclude display resolutions and refresh rates? Crysis 1 & 2 runs at 50Hz in DX10 and 11 mode.
