Pointless waiting for something faster if you dont know what it is or when it will appear.

By the time GK110 appears something else will be on the horizon.

Fermi can still hold her own, even in my crappy PC :D
    (@925mhz, all settings maxed)

Well done, that's a great score for a 580 :) Can you do a bench using just Tess on normal?

    regards,
    RagDoll.

For some reason Heaven 3.0 goes choppy as Hell with settings on normal. It runs smooth for the most part but with horrible slow-downs for some reason. Not sure what's up with that. As you can see it runs fine maxed out.

    this is my default gpu-z.

when i ran heaven the 680 core fluctuated between 1006 and 1014.

on the other hand in a few games the clock jumped up and stayed @ 1058 most of the time, this probably depends on
the psu and the case temperature, even identical cards will probably give different results.

personally i don't give much importance to synthetic benchmarks tbh, i just post the shots for interest,
what really matters to me is real gaming and the gtx680 delivers compared to my previous gtx480. ;)

let me tell you something... if its bothering you that some people can afford the latest hardware and you can't that's not my problem, just don't go trolling calling them liars, fakes or cheaters trying to discredit them with baseless accusations only to vent your frustration.

i just reported you to the mods. :ban:

"false" GTS 450!??? lol! But do you use GTS 450 for PhysX?

@Year: I may have banned!?? But look @gerardfraser has also false GTS 450. Therefore this lastest program bench has bug for check system. ;)

    I'm Ricardo Nuno. ;)

If you have warranty for HD5970 expired then you may bake to fix HD5970 in oven but you should read FIRST tutorial. :)

Oh no, it didn't die. Ran 110% but I just wanted more power and already had one 580 in the closet. I guess the above came out totally wrong.
I did do the baking trick on my 4870x2 and it did get me almost another year of use out of it lol.
    Thanks much tho

4aa in any game is enough.

x8 x16 are a waste of bandwidth, but to each their own.

All setups I have had reports physx card as main card most off the time.
    Even with game benchmarks.

A single 680 is almost beating 580 SLI?
