That's a pretty big OC, don't know why people have been saying it doesn't OC as well as the 7970.

they did hit 1900 which is a milestone in itself but it was alot more then a"wire here and a wire there" its plainly obvisous they "had to" highly mod it for extreme overclocking.
I would expect nothing less from those guys.

Same as the guys at labs501 they had to mod it with untouchable too(cus it would blow i'm sure) and could tell you closer to the truth cus they dont work for nvidia.

I would expect nothing less from those guys either.
I like to see a few results i think it evens out the sales and the info.

I cant wait to see what some non ref cards more built for stamina
evga already has cards planned,hope it dont take as long as the 580 classy.

Never know the community might have some tricks up there sleaves about these cards when they get them .

They could have been more generous with the power circutry(and limit) for the price of the card.The hardware on these things is like whats hanging on a $300 card

 

That EVGA thing sounds very dodgy, surprised that i never thought about how much this Auto OC thing could affect them.

Kinda happy that i'm sitting this out for now, need to see how prices and stability, as well as dodgy partner things play out.
