nope...bus width is not a problem at all...i said earlier...these drivers are too young...premature...be patient...remember how much more powerful gtx480 became in the past with the time's passing...this is the first kepler like the first fermi...give some space to them...gk104 is an incredible piece of art...

dude just the fact that those cards use 600 watts to attain if they are lucky better performance then a 680 at under 200 watts...not to mention they can't even run dx 11 would make me want to switch.

I dont worry about power consumption and dx11 is a HUGE fad as ive said all along, show some games that are dx11 heavy.....

I have the cash to buy a 10x680s if i wanted too, point is i dont need too,ill wait for the dual cards and 780 to make an appearance before i part with my hard earned.

I hope the reviews test PhysX as I'm interested to see whether the GTX 680 can handle Batman: Arkham City with it better than my GTX 580. There was talk at one point about the hardware being specifically optimized for PhysX but I haven't seen any mention of it recently. Benchmarks usually ignore hardware PhysX because AMD's cards can't handle it but hopefully the reviewers will realise that it is relevant for NVIDIA card owners upgrading from older hardware.

MY 295 was great but the lack of Vram was an issue for me, not to mention the heat but I guess you have yours under H2O Vet so thats not an issue..

I was starting to worry about some of the leaks about the 680 but some of the stuff I've seen today has got me wanting one again. GK110 will just have to be a crimbo present to myself..

P.S. When does the NDA end allowing the reviews to be published and the cards to go on sale? Is it midnight U.S. time, i.e. 8 or 10am here in the UK? 8am would be perfect as I'll have time to order one before I leave for work (assuming, that is, that I still want one). :D

I think it was just some false hype, again. They can't optimize physx2 anymore than it is, it was fail from the start..

Im far more interested in physx3, hopefully it will deliver and not be another physx2 flop ;)

I dont have my gpu's under H20 mate, however i do have the single PCB cards which are much better regarding heat, noise and longetivity compared to the dual PCB 295's which i also owned in SLI before the single PCB's.

My next gpus that i buy will be going under custom waterblocks with 1xRX360 triple radiator assigned to each card and put in my Caselabs M8,so the hardware has to be right for me before i make the upgrade, the 680 is a great card just like the 580 was before it,but its not a worthwhile upgrade for myself especially with the 780 rumoured to be around august/september time.

Not only that i think im gonna hold on till Haswell as this 930 is doing a good job atm.

yea I am waiting for the 780 myself....my gtx 480 overclocked happily hums along running everything perfectly fine at 1920x1080 for me. If I am gonna spend hundreds of dollars on a graphics card I want the true successor to the GTX 580 not something that was initially meant to be released at 299.99.

GTX580's score beyond 40k with about a system like yours on Vantage, so why shouldn't a GTX680 be able to?

A single 580 will not score that and neither will a single 680.
