Grass shadows are working here... so glad they did this; it really bugged me to have brightly lit grass under the shade of trees etc.

Hmm ye, it does work after all.

Now they should let Grass Cast a Shadow on the ground and i'm happy.

    AO...ye..but that's 10-15 FPS drop. :)

Small plants cast Shadows..so why not Grass.

Yeah, why not?... I'm sure there is no technical reason why it could not be done... I've not measured the frame rate pre/post 1.5 but it feels just as slick as it did before, even if it is drawing more shadows.

I think Beth need to add more options to the interface to allow more control of the visuals... rather than tinkering with ini's. You can get it looking so much better with a few simple value changes.

Haven't installed the beta *yet* as not sure if it's going to be stable but the grass shadows and other additions are quite tempting so might later on tonight.

Seems pretty stable so far. runs good, no fps loss or anything from grass shadows. also vram usage went down 20mb~ guess thats from memory optimizations.

i know im late to the party, but i assume all the mods are still compatible with the high-res texture pack update?

yes, except for some texture mods that the new dlc will over write.

The Nexus Site should rename itself to "502 Bad Gateway".

Cuz that's pretty much what the site says 80% of the day.

I personally love the new killcams in 1.5, especially as I use a bow as my main weapon... the fact they don't trigger every kill stops them becoming tedious.

rofl white, I encountered quite a few bugs with dragon skeletons myself. The latest one was today in Dawstar, after I killed some noob dragon before entering the town and then went and entered the museum. After getting out again I had the skeleton of the dragon I killed fall from the sky ontop of the museum building. :D

For some reason Skyrim is the only game that gives me neck pains after I've been on it for an hour or more. No other game does that to me.
