Syndicate remake in the works!

Yep it's cyberpunk. So, who tried this game?
Oh, BTW, some pirates with 3x580GTX or similar rigs, can have an ass payn, because the game is not cracked. And it wouldn't be, because(from what I read) f#### "scene" doesn't crack Starbreeze games.:wanker:

 

It seems the singleplayer isn't great but the multiplayer co-op is fantastic.

 

Which is what reviews have said. But... really...
I've had some people tell me the coop is annoying and the single player is a lot of fun.

 

Fairly mixed reaction with the reviews I've read so far, I've actually read the opposite of what Darren said which is a bit confusing.

 

It seems coop skill level doesnt scale with numbers of players, so might be best to play with 4.

 

I have only played a little bit of the co-op so far and the shooting feels good. Just wish that fxaa injector didn't cause the game not boot up so I could use it to tone down the bloom. Never have I seen a game go so insane with bloom, and that is saying something with this generation of games.

Turning the game into FPS is a shame really.
Why do you think that Diablo III is staying at it's core?
Because that was it's success and made it different from other games.
Same could have been said for Syndicate, but those Deus Ex nabs just had to mess it up (like Deus Ex itself isn't bad enough)

 

Seems like the same as swtor, but I guess [some_dude] isn't going to release a working dll anytime soon

 

Keep the d3d9.dll file in the same folder with the exe, move the rest to the base game directory.

Normally this issue is why it crashes.
(Tries to read the shader files from some other folder - varies depending on game - and fails at this thus crashing the game instead since it doesn't hook properly.)

I get the same with the SMAA plugin in a number of titles and usually log.txt points to what's wrong and then you correct it and everything works.
(Serious Sam 3 being a very recent example, files in the base folder and .dll in the binary folder.)

With ctrl-alt-` you get into console and 'help' brings up a huge list of commands. One of them has to change the fov. There is one that changes the pixel aspect ratio. Anyone found the one to change the FOV? There is a cfg file in my documents folder, but it pretty much has the same commands as you find under help in the console.

 

Seems many game studios are becoming increasingly liberal, perhaps even dynamic, in how they approach piracy. Starbreeze studios seem to take a similar view to Remedy on this matter, but with a little twist.

Cheers, I would get this but the narrow FOV I've heard about has put me off as it tends to make me feel a bit sick. I'll keep a look out to see when it's fixable.

 

+1, nice move tbh, loved Sbz's Riddick games. Will have to give Syndicate a try at some point.

 

I took a lot of screenshots while playing this earlier, but found it's hard to get "good" screens in the game. While they look good while playing, the still images themselves look a bit meh.
This is definitely one of those games that looks better in motion.

But a FOV tweak would be very nice. As would an option to disable the bloom.

 

Changing the render mode from D3D9 to GL will give access to the shader files, of course I couldn't make a difference at all even with nearly all files moved elsewhere so it seems it's down to figuring out the command console for turning of certain effects and other tweaks.
(I've been having fun with NoClip so far in this second playtrough, doing the online missions every now and then too but I've not gotten very far, I really like them over the main campaign missions however.)
