Same problem here. I believe this an SSD problem so now it just needs to be narrowed down a bit more for the specifics. 29X.XX drivers worked fine on my system until I removed my old seagate drives. Now with 2 ssd's in raid 0 & a clean Win7x64 install 29X.XX drivers refuse to stay on the OS after rebooting. So don't listen to that poster who recommended a clean install. That isn't going to fix it! Only nVidia is going to be able to fix it  :biggun:

I did a reinstall on the 10th, 290.36 would not work then either, so...

Go into Monitor Settings in windows and change or make sure the Refresh Rate is set to 60hz.

I also have SSDs, in fact, four of them in RAID0.

For the first time I had issues with forceware. 290.36 didn't install correctly.
After the reboot I had no signal/black screen.

I'm searching the web and read something about a X58 mobo compatibility issue. I don't know if this is the case.

    I will try these later.

this method works on crysis 2 dx11 too ;) it lowers the vram usage also.

I had a hunch that you did. I'm guessing your OS is running off of them as well? If so, what brand/model/firmware are the ones running your OS?

Just to rehash and get a little bit more specific, I'm running Win7x64 sp1 (with all current updates) on 2 OCZ Agility 3's 120GB RAID 0 FW 2.15 via Intel's ICH10 on ports 0 & 1 I believe. Nothing else is plugged in via ICH10 but that doesn't matter.

Best drivers for BF 3 so far. Really like these. Thx for the link!

    Yes, OS (Win7 U x64 SP1) on the array.

They are Microcenter (rebranded ADATA S599) 64GB.

I believe the firmware is 3.4.6.

I am using a modified motherboard BIOS with Intel RAID OROM 11.5.0.1111, and Intel RST 10.8.0.1003.

Ok profiles are fixed, most of them.

It still shows exe path by those that are missing, Sonic Generations, VirtuaTennis4,. But its not a big deal I will make my own in nv inspector.. At least they fixed main profiles :)

Using an SSD since September 2009. First a single OCZ Vertex 120GB, later on a second one in RAID0 and currently a Crucial M4 256GB. Thru all the time i owned nVidia and AMD and never had such an issue.

I really doubt the problem is with nVidia.

I totally confirm the FPS increase on BF3. The game now is significantly better/smoother.

Anyone noticed higher idle temps while in Windows with these drivers? My cards are running at around 31-32° idle instead of 21-25°. But still they are clocking themselves down to 0.963v.

My 580 is still idling around the same 26-28c. Can't say I've noticed any improvement in Skyrim using ultra shadows. This is an engine issue with Skyrim using the CPU for shadows so not sure what a GPU driver is supposed to accomplish.
