I literally only had a few minutes to try the game before leaving for work but I tested Whiterun at night, looking down at the huge tree from Dragonreach, and the framerate hovered between 26 and 41 fps as I turned on the spot. I can't be absolutely certain, as I usually exit Dragonreach during the day, but night has additional light sources so I presume more shadows are being cast and therefore the engine is being stressed more. I believe I'm getting maybe 2-3 fps more than I did before but I need to test it during the day really to be absolutely positive.

Also, candle-lit dungeons had a tendency to tank the framerate and even introduced an extremely noticeable lagginess to the controls even when the framerate was 50 fps. I'm hoping that that has been completely fixed, although as I said last night in the Skyrim thread, the v1.3.10 patch seems to reduced this anyway for the 3.5 hours I played the game (as well as those annoying crashes to the desktop that I would always get if I ran the game without using Skyrim4GB).

Markarth, exiting Understone Keep, gives me the worst framerate in Skyrim though as it dips as low as 20 fps for several seconds as I walk/run away from the door down the steps either side. I've also had one instance where the framerate nose-dived to 6 fps while fighting an Ancient dragon at Cracked Tusk Keep, granted that is the only time that has ever happened in the 176 hours I've been playing the game (plus it was with v1.3.7 of the game).

I'll certainly be interested to hear other people's thoughts on these drivers with Skyrim. Does the game run better for you with these drivers and yesterday's (minor) update to include LAA?

The drivers hosted by Guru3D.com are the International drivers, Kanisteri, as I downloaded them from their link and installed them this morning. The filename states '...International_Beta_64-bit' at the end, something along those lines.

Tell me please, TDR is "driver stopped responding..." ****? Because I had troubles with Battlefield and previous betas all the time. Driver crashed 3-4 times a day.

However, 285.79 betas were allright, no issues.

    Now gonna try these.

You mean, when you were using an 8x or 12x scope and looking far away, ahead, some textures were flickering... Is it fixed?
