I would like to know how to create that picture art for my photo and also how to create that cutout for business card.

From what I have been taught about making resumes, that one will get thrown in the garbage.

^Are you taking into account that the resume above has been created by a graphic designer?

It's a little bland, but I like the idea.

This looks more professional imo -

Ya the above resume Phrag posted is something I'm more particular too as far as looks and feel. I have been doing freelance web & graphic design for 12+ years and the first resume the OP posted to me is just way chaotic. Now I understand artistic expression but it just doesn't work for me.

Now to the OP... Are you asking about the steps for designing that clip art piece like in Photoshop? Not quite sure what your asking for.

Buisness Cards can varie in size depending on where your from. You check out this link and look for the Dimensions section to see the different sizes and aspect ratios that are used from around the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_card

Ask her (the author of that resume).

I don't see a problem with that - you found her resume, you liked it, why not use it to conact her?

That would be all together too logical. It would be like going to the doctor instead of asking the forum what to do when you're sick..... :D

If i saw the CV in the opening post, i'd throw it in the bin without even looking at any of the details.

If i wanted to see creativity, then present a portfolio at interview stage. Otherwise, bin.
