Guys, is it normal that my FPS goes down by a lot when I turn on 3D stereoscope?

Yes. In case of 3D Stereo the drivers should render each scene twice (for the left and the right eye).

And could it be the case that CrossfireX is not fully supported yet?

Yep, 3D can cause quite a performance hit, and you're limited to 60FPS.

Weird, I reinstalled the drivers properly (driver cleaner and all). What could it be? I got so used to using saturation @ 135 that I cant play without it :p battlefield 3 looks so colorless. Plz halp! :p

Have you tried using the "Restore Factory Defaults" option on CCC?

Restore everything to defaults as said above, and use the 'auto adjust' function on your monitor.

When that's all done, calibrate your monitor (using the monitors own settings where possible).

Personally, I have no idea how you could look at anything with 135% saturation. (unless of course your monitor and colour settings were FUBAR from the start).

You didn't read it, did you?

It gives you the information regarding how its implemented, regardless of the card used, and then yes, it delves into professional implementation.

Do you think FireGL are a completely different GPU to Radeon??

The hardware doesn’t matter. The driver implementations are different. The FirePro cards have 3D Stereo support for years (especially for OpenGL).

And they've released it at the consumer level. The technology behind it works the same.

I posted the PDF up if anyone wanted to read it. Jesus H Christ you really are a nigly little whiner.

You are right for this. But in practice the user needs the different drivers/programs/wrappers to play games in 3D Stereo.
