Just to be clear, CrossfireX should be working with 11.11b + CAP2, right?

    Should
    be...

How about you ask in that thread? This thread is for 11.11c, so why not try those out?

I would like to believe you but how come DriverSweeper finds a ton of files when you reboot in safe mode after having used the Uninstaller?

Because a hell of a lot of files are common between driver installations (and not all are even graphic driver related - driver sweeper just picks everything from AMD and deletes it - whether its needed or not).

I'd never bother re-installing windows just to change a graphics card. No need whatsoever to do that!

Hmm im gonna try driver sweeper in safe mode, if game profiles will work once again.
If they do, then something is definitely wrong with installation of 11.11b/c if you have more then single gpu card.

All right, I'll test this when 11.12 is out. Thanks!

I usually reinstall the filter drivers and SATA drivers anyway when updating graphics drivers (most, if not all beta/leaked graphics drivers seem to include the filter and SATA drivers anyway).

On my 5970 with these drivers X works but it's about a 10% FPS hit.

    Derp.

What 'filter drivers' do you mean? And the SATA drivers are only of use if you have an AMD based board.

I know, I was making the point as a lot of non-AMD based systems wil have AMD gpu's and drivers...

Well guys, this is it, driver sweeper fixed application profiles not saving.
What i did was uninstall driver by using ati uninstaller, then boot in safe mode, run driver sweeper, cleaned all related to ati graphic, restarted, installed 8.93 29/11.2011 version and it works! so there is definitely something wrong in ati installer when you have more then one graphic card (gpu).

Well then maybe you should. If you haven't installed new Catalyst Application Profiles, its not wonder old ones were stuck in there from somewhere.

CAPs are separated from drivers when in comes to installation or removing. CAPs per se require a reboot.

@Spajdrik Last time I used driver sweeper or similar was when I owned my 8800gt SLI. No issues with THREE gpus now.

In the last 12 months I've owned or tested in my rig:

    GTX 460, GTS 250, GTX 570, HD 5450, HD 4870, HD 4870 x2, 8800gts, 9800GT and now my HD 6870.

Havent used driver sweeper once tbh, and no issues.

I couldn't uninstall the 8.93(Nov 29) drivers properly even after using Driver Sweeper in safe mode. After the regular uninstallation process you just have to go to Device Manager, locate your GPU, right click and Select uninstall. Make sure you tick "delete driver files", that removes every possible GPU driver file you may have in the system. It's the only way i could install any other driver successfully.
