DX9 yes, DX10/11 remained unchanged on High Preset.

It wont get you banned,PB dont work like that,it will only ban you if your found to have a program that interferes with PB like a hack that PB will detect,at the very worst PB will just kick you for *invalid driver* or something like that, but it wont block your key:ie GUID cd key ban.

Hmm, I tried this with Skyrim, but I get near white-out using it... and everything is really banded. I turned-off in game AA so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I placed the three files [d3d9] in the game directory, as described.

    Any ideas?..

There's the dxgi.dll with ultra preset.
    Mirror1 (massmirror)
    Mirror2 (Mediafire)
You must use the .fx and .h provided with the official injector.

    Not big differences btw.

    I hope there's t2x in v1.2 :infinity:

Are you sure PB cant detect modified dx files?
If i'm not wrong modified Dx files can do a lot more than adding customs aa.

Are you tried to press "pause" to desactivate SMAA on the fly and see if the problem persists with smaa off?

Yes, pressing 'pause' did not seem to do anything... it did not turn it off, and remained burned-out. Removing the files returns things to normal.

    When was it ever fixed?
What i mean is, ever since i use MLAA i get that blur stuff and i notice a large % of performance drop. It never seem like MLAA was accurate.

Anyways, about this SMAA i am going to test this thing out and get back to you guys.

I had the wacky gamma problem in Skyrim too, but you only need to disable Steam overlay to make it work correctly.

I wouldnt have thought so...when we used to play BF2 and we didnt want to use the CD we would use a cracked exe but PB would kick you for it,but not ban you,in the end DICE made the game so could play without the cd all the time, its a similar thing here,i woulda thought so anyhow.

If your unsure wait for a reply from DICE which could take ages,or make a post on there official forum or on battlelog.:)

I read a response from evenbalance (PB) somewhere in a fxaa topic saying evenbalance are refusing to support any unofficial code.

Evenbalance not even support 64bit and smaa support is unlikely to happen if they keep the same policies.

Sorry if I misspelled something, I'm not too good at english.

PB are a bunch of ass****ers when it comes to actually doing something that helps others.

Don't see why games still use it, **** support and it hardly does anything against private hacks.

FXAA in Skyrim is the best AA I have ever seen.

It had a large performance hit and didn't usually give pleasing results but it was functional. I don't remember which driver release decreased it's heavy GPU usage but that same release broke it's Window functionality. Maybe 11.6 or 11.7, if can I take a look through the old release notes I'd be able to find it.

I will not say the best ... FXAA look similar on result on 4x MSAA .. but the drop on performance is less of MSAA ..

If i can still use 8xMSAA (or more ) + TSSAA ( transparency/adapatative), i will still use that in priority over MLAA or FXAA ...

But all thoses solutions are perfect when AA is jut not working.

( anyway, let give some time to thoses solutions, for let them well implemented ( specially by developpers when they use them... sadly they use strange variation with them )

Seems like its doing a good job in Skyrim after disabling the overlay. But sadly I cant use injFX then. The game looks so much better with the injector and the "Immersive_Custom_Settings" injFX_Settings.h file

Looking for AA "injector" on Settlers 7, desperately!
MLAA don't works very good (still jagged and fonts are ruined).
