AMD Catalyst 11.11a "Performance Driver" (8.911.1 November 18)

Got a 3DMark06 score of 7094 with these drivers on my laptop.
Is that allright?

 

With 11.11 cap2 gpu usage goes to 50-60% :/ and without it it stutters like hell. FFS, i cant smooth since the patch. Any advice for trifire?

 

try 11.11a + 11.11 CAP2

 

yeah, that´s what i did

i get more gpu usage without caps, but still not as good as 11.10 prev 3 before the patch dont know which driver to install now

 

tell me playing skyrim etc on ultra settings on a lcd tv with 1360x768 and then switch tio a 22" monitor with max rez of 1680x1050 is there a noticeble difference in how good games look but more performance wise?

 

It s the game. They are working in a patch for that issue.

I dont have it but most people do I think.

just wanted to say that I have installed this driver and it's working well with my system. Slight performance increase across the board. Skyrim could still be better but that might be down to the developers rather than ATI. Apologies to ATI for getting so frustrated with you lately on the forum - you are a bit slow but you get it done in the end!

 

It working like **** on bf3 @ 6990+6970, with or without caps. Best driver for me was 11.10 prev 3 but after the patch gpu usage went down to 65%, don´t know which driver to install now.

Assassins Creed Revelations, Batman Arkham City, Skyrim, Crysis 2, The Witcher 2, all broken crossfire profiles, sigh... my fault for trusting amd once again.

what about performances using a single gpu and proper caps2 with bf3, batman, rage .. ?

 

I play IL2 Cliffs of Dov. and tried all 11.10 2 & 3, 11.11, 11.11a Caps 1 & 2, 8.92 and 8.93. All said and done. 11.11a with out Cap 2 runs great for CLoD and original IL2.

What drivers are you using? do you have third party programs like radeonpro? is your CCC at default?

Clean install, no third party apps, default CCC.

My biggest concern is bf3 which worked fine with 11.10 prev 3 before the patch. Tried 11.11whql with and without 11.11 cap2/11.10 cap4 and 11.11a with and without 11.11 cap2. Gpu usage is pretty low compared to prev 3. Dont know what to do now

Yesterday I tried Dota 2 beta and the 3 gpus were at 75% WTF! something is definitely wrong with that profile.

As for the rest of the games, i´m getting 40-50% gpu usage (crysis 2, the witcher 2), batman works fine in dx9.

 

Those games with 40-50% gpu usage are running with vsync?

BF3 has a performance problem as it has been pointed from both sides Nvidia and AMD. Not everyone is having the problem tho.
I dont have it. HT off , page file disabled, no MSAA high post AA, no crack exe, loading times are longer but they dont crash like before. That s how I run BF3 in my PC with 11.11a + 11.11cap2.
Last good combo I had was 11.9 wqhl + 11.9cap4 for BF3.
I dont have DOTA2 so I cant help u much there. But it s beta afterall.

Edit. I ll try Crysis 2, how do you run it?

 

All my desktop icons are ghosting, anyone else experiencing this?

Nvm it was just a loose DVI cable.
