    Oh BTW in coop en SP the game ran smooth without any hiccups. I guess it's the massive activity and the constant and rapid changing of the environment in-game that causes the massive RAM demand.

    depends on what resolution your using cause i'm on 1366*768 and have no stuttering at all but i use high settings with af x16.would like to try ultra but too lazy to even deal with testing the setting.

    There was a BF3 patch, which states;

    • Adjusted the “stuttering” encountered on some PC configurations.

    Could anyone confirm if you can now play with HT enabled?

    I don't want to shout victory too early, but so far I have played for 5 minutes with HT enabled and I have 0 stuttering.

    What a headache!

    Single Player = Perfect
    Coop = Good
    Multiplayer = Stutter

    After trying everything in this post to fix my multiplayer experiance, it turned out it was my ISP and my latency configuration. Im with IINET (Australia) and I just changed my internet profile to GAMER. Stutter all gone!

    Side effect is lower download speeds, but now I can play stutter free.

    My stutter was in the form of every 10 seconds i would get about 3 quick pauses in the game. It was not until I noticed I actualy went a little side ways that this might actualy be lag. (Rubber Band)

    But for me it now appears to be fix, and with the latest patch, my mouse is nice and smooth.

    Hope this might help others, just check and confirm with your ISP if they have a low latency configurtaion.

    Thanks for everything guys :)

    It did for me, as well as my clan mate with a single GTX580 and an i7 2600k as well.

    I don't think this is a Sandy Bridge issue though, as it also happened to people with i7's from 1366 platform.

    Yep, I got them like month and half ago, for free, traded them over 6970's. :D

    I PM'ed you. :p

    Lucky then, many people were having lots of stuttering and to some it was unplayable.

    The patch was released about 24 hours ago.

    I play with the Ultra preset (Which means everything maxed) except Motion Blur which I don't like.

    So that means; 1920x1080 @ Ultra @ MSAAx4 @ AFx16 @ HBAO @ Motion Blur OFF.

    Motion Blur only hits about 3-4fps so it wouldn't really matter if it's ON or not, it's MSAA what kills performance, but I'm still above 60fps at ALL times. :banana:

    1.5GB. The 3GB version is quite useless unless you're going for 3 monitors.
