Right now I have a GTX 590 and plans to buy a Mars II, I plan to use both in one system, the question is:

    1. can I use them both in one system?
    2. possible the GTX 590 can be used as a PhysX because a lower speed than Mars II?
    3. whether this is a wise decision by buying mars II while the next-gen GPU is about to release?
    4. possible mars II can I use for a long time because it only supports dx 11 (a lot of confusing news about dx 11.1 or 12)

    my system today:

    maximus 4 extrem - z
    i7 2600k
    16 gb corsairs vengeance
    AX1200 corsairs gold
    GTX 590

I desperately need an answer because there are only 2 units of Mars II in Indonesia, I'd be very grateful with your answer :)

    Regards

    Ivan

Yes, but definitely not for SLI unless it's paired with another MARS II.

    Quite possible.
But I'm pretty sure you'd get a collective 'WTF' from using a 590 as just a PhysX card.

No, it's not a wise decision.

Possible, but you're better off getting another 590 and get Quad SLI out of it.

The MARS series from ASUS is not intended for gamers with 'wise decisions'.
That thing is probably the biggest e-peen in the gfx card world right now.

Despite the fact they use the same GPU, i dont think they can be SLIed.

As for PhysX, you may use ONE of the GTX590 gpu for physX.

ya you cannot use SLI 590 with a MARS 2.

I think you can SLI MARS 2 with a 580 though.
590 for physx is a waste of money and power. A single 580 will run a game + phys x fine, so a MARS2 or 590 does not need its' own physx card.

Its like inflating a water balloon with a water cannon. It will do it but you won't really get anything out of it.

Tbh mate if i had a 590 i wouldnt buy anything until keplar comes and the MARs is only about 22% better than 590 and the MARS dont OC very well, its up too you though, card is seriously about epeen, you already have a card that gives you the same performance and dx11.

Anyone who bought the MARS series don't think about those trivial things. ;)

sorry friends for late reply, I work 12 hours a day...

after reading the replies you guys and after days of reading reviews, I decided to save my money and wait for Kepler, I think the Mars II is more valuable as a collector's item, your opinions is right and I'm aware of the price of Mars II is very expensive, even now reached $ 2,000 , really a fantastic price just for a VGA.

I am very grateful for your time in answering my questions, I hope the next time I can ask more things from you guys :)

once again I say thank you for your time, I really appreciate it :)
