I'd return it, you never know how bad it'll be in a few months or whenever warranty runs out!

Def return it. I don't know how you could ever stand it. It'd bug me so much I might just smash the screen in rage. Stuff like that REALLY bothers me.

I couldn't live with this. Small things like this annoy me more than when something doesn't work all together.

Yes I can, my current monitor has quite a few dead/stuck pixels, they aren't noticeable unless I'm looking for them though, it doesn't bother me.

You'll get used to it after a while. Personally i can't live with it. RMA while you can

Most manufacturers will not RMA your monitor for one dead pixel. It's common for some manufacturers to even require 3 or more before accepting an RMA, IIRC.

lehtv is 100% correct, I'd try to return it if you can under warranty but be prepared for a refusal.

Or look up the guides to creating enough dead pixels. People do it...

Look like im lucky, i have never have the case on the 2 TV and 4 Samsung monitors i have got. ( yes all Samsung, some don't like, i have allways find the good monitor who was fit my budget and expectations, not all are good, but if you search, you find allways a pearl in their series ).

But it's clear, the day i have one with a dead pixel, i RMA it .

I can live with it specially if it's already out of warranty.

Me too. I have one now that is out. But the warranty is off, so I don't care. On 1680x1050 that's my resolution I can't seem to notice it. :)

Return it, dead pixels multiply throughout time. One leads to two, leads to 4 and etc.

If it's in say a corner, I think I could live with it. Yes my ass would be sore, but I could live with it. But anywhere further away from the sides than say 1cm and I'd eat the display.
