Activision has already announced plans for another Call of Duty title next year as Modern Warfare 3 posts the largest day-one shipments in gaming history. On top of that Activision is promising at... More...
TBH, No Call Of Duty confirmed for 2012 would of been news. Never played any of the Treyarch games, well nothing more than a mess about on someone else's game, but when i speak to any COD fans, they all wan't a new game every year, so why not give them one, would be stupid not to.
I actually prefer Treyarch games to Infinity Ward now. COD2 and COD4 were awesome but after that its just horrible. At least Treyarch tries to be a little unique with their games.
Well if it ain't broke, don't fix it i always say. Despite ppl saying they should stop make the franchise, they out do themselves ever year. can't say that for other franchise e.g Need for Speed. been years since fans demand a Underground 3 or Most wanted 2,instead they upgrade game engine and try new stuff that majority cares little about. Majority wants what COD gives, maybe other should do the same. Love it or hate it guys, the out dated game engine is still out selling the new ones
not this again.....uke2: cod fans have been playing the same game since 2007 and paying for it all over again every few years, nice! I can fortell the future by the way, 2013 MW4, 2014 CODblops2, and 2015 MW6 still using DX9...
The only thing unique about Treyarch games is the amount of game-stopping bugs they include as part of their $60 price tag. As for CoD 9 being confirmed ... was that even a surprise? deltatux
How about Revolutionary? http://youtu.be/PTcVNuNX8yY http://youtu.be/tefVf5qC9_w (Actually pretty fun mod.)
COD Civil War, as in the US Civil War, would be pretty boring to be honest. What fun, loading the muscat, shooting, then going 'hang on you southern/yankee swine, whilst I spend 15 seconds reloading my weapon. Then of course there's the navigating of an ironclad down the river. No excitement there, its just a ship with steel armour, slow not much steering left and right and only designed to go in one direction - either up or down the river. World War I hasn't been done either for the reason its too slow, things really only started becoming interesting, in terms of gameplay, with World War II. If you meant a modern hypothetical civil war, that could work. How about a Eurozone war caused by the collapse of some of its members economy... I didn't actually realise Italy's economy was so big before news of its imminent collapse became known!
There are plenty of WW1 games & mods. There are also some Civil War / Revolutionary War games. Check out WW1 Source. http://www.ww1-source.net/ http://youtu.be/7jxJiYk800g
Of course there is, there's a new one every year! Here's the thing though, there is a new one every year but at the same time some of the older games like MW, and MW2 are played more than the newer ones like WaW, or BO. The reasoning for this, look at the actual developers of the games. Infinity Ward made COD games people tend to play a lot longer and more compared to the Treyarch games.
Definitely! but who knows, they may make it Directx 11 for marketing, and yet use next to none of the Directx 11 niceties Next month marks the happy 9th birthday for Direct 9.0, how fitting! (Directx 9.0c is just over 7 years old). Here's an idea for the next COD: Call of Doody: When sh*t hits the fan :fart:
