Same, even for my Legit games, I keep a crack on my HDD for it, just in case something happens.

 

In BF2 punkbuster would kick you for "invalid game driver" if you used a cracked exe,it wouldnt ban you though,just a kick,im glad i can now disable origin with the releoaded crack,i do like battlelog though however.

 

So is this totally safe? I played one game with it but im scared lol

 

Their Twitter said you won't get banned for it. If you can't trust that, then I dunno what you can trust, as hell, the President of the U.S uses twitter.

 

Well note that they said 'we do not support this' meaning 'as soon as we patch the game ur .exe fix will no longer work hardy har har.'

Your going to take a help desk guys word for it? they don't work for dice they work for EA, im fine with leaving origin in offline mode.

They'll just make another. It didn't take them that long at all to make the .exe

 

It could be something hidden in all the legal mumbo jumbo. What Im thinking is that by LAW they have to offer some kind of way to play the game without Origin for what ever reason. They just dont want anyone to know about it or find out. Hence when the Egg is found and Cracked they still are pretty quiet about it. You know by now if they had any right to stop this they would have been giving warnings and shouting out by now.
Steam has the Offline option for their games.

Cant be bothered with it as every time you update the game you would need to find a updated crack. I'm too lazy, having origin in the background when playing doesn't bother me, it's not like it is a resource hog or anything. In fact I wish I could get rid of battlelog and have a traditional in game menu.

 

Working fine here with no problems.
