    I have the same problem.

5850 CFX, i7 950 @ 4.6 No HT, Game setting High with Ultra, no AA.

Used 11.10 pre 3 with Cap4 and no Cap. It's great and smooth at first (around 80fps), but after you die a couple of times in multiplayer, Crossfire fluctuates between 20% to 99% on both cards . During these fluctuations the FPS drops and the game stutters to a point where it is unplayable. This is NOT the micro-stuttering experienced in CAP 3.

I haven't really seen anyone else post this yet. Thought it was just me and was willing to just play on single GPU...which works fine.

Yeah, single GPU works fine, but there's a brutal fps drop (from 60fps to 30-33fps).

The beta worked just fine, no issues at all, and now this ... It's frustrating because I can't play and it seems that nothing can fix it.

Also another interesting thing, SP runs smooth in 90% of the time and then BAM ... 0fps. But that's ok, after all, It's playable, not like the crappy MP ...

Yes, and this CAP looks to be the exact same CAP as the unofficial 11.9 CAP4 that's been on Rage3d forums.

Anyways, yes I'm using the 11.10 v3's and the 11.9 CAP4 and everything is a go! Both my 6950's are running at high 90% utilization and no stuttering. Very nice!

Performerance without any CAPs at all is actually pretty decent on the Pre3 drivers. I'm running a mix of High/Ultra @ 1920x1200. I dont know if CFX is enabled or not but I guess it is since a single 5850 would probably not cope 60fps at those settings. Is there any way to have Ctrl-Alt-S toggled on/off? The only way to view that info is to have them buttons pressed.

The only problem I have now is that if I try to enable 2xMSAA the game freezes.

@Netherwind: and you don't have those 0fps spikes?

Edit - The Seine level was ok but Operation Firestorm was catastrophic. Got extreme 1fps stuttering and sometimes drops down to 0fps before I finally got disconnected.
    GAAAAH!

Just tried it with High Texture instead of Ultra. Don't have the stutter anymore. See if it helps you.

    Preview 3+Cap4, so it's 3 drivers and 4 application profiles huh :

-low GPU usage on BF3 (on a 4870x2 lol)
-sky blinking/texture bug on character/stuttering in rage
    -...

way to go AMD lol ;)

I tried running 11.10 preview 3 with CAP 4 and it broke the AMD Vision Engine control center. It will not open.

It's only for OpenGL. It won't do s***.

You will have to enable Triple buffering with Radeon Pro or D3DOverrider. BF3 is Direct 3d
