I7 hyper-threading is bugging out with bf3 right now for whatever reason. Go into your bios and disable it. A quick fix for now. I'm sure theres a patch inc. Also, the new Drivers introduced shadow corruption which there is no fix for yet.

Shadow corruption is with the game engine. Nvidia said the build had changed...

New drivers should be in the works... doesnt anyone test anything anymore??

    UPDATE:

We just got word from Nvidia’s ManuelG. Apparently the corrupted shadows are due to the game’s current build while the stuttering will be fixed via an updated GPU driver. We should also note that the game is not working properly with 3D Vision right now – a patch is expected to add proper 3D support:

“The corrupted shadows were apparently fixed by Dice in build 862168 of BF3. I don’t have the game yet (arrives tomorrow) so I can not verify which build number Dice/EA shipped. If it is a newer version than 862168, I will have our developer relations team notify EA/Dice. As for the stuttering, I have already filed a bug on that.”

so we have to wait for them to fix it or there is a fix for the stuttering on the new drivers? the stuttering make the game unplayable and with older drivers i get bugs on shadows on multiplayer :/ i hope they fix it, not only for the new video cards....

Hmm I don't see whats so great about this game "graphics". I have 3 computers one 570, 470, ATI 5870 and all ultra settings all maxed out and runs smooth but.. the graphics.. you can see it still has that console upgrade look. Just get to close to anything and you see it.

Don't get me wrong great game looks great but still looks dx9..

Stuttering is Linked to hyper threading.

Like I said. If you are running an I-7, Disable Hyper threading for now and the stuttering will go away.
