This is SOLD OUT on Direct2Drive, which my friend was going to gift me from. Haha. Origin doesn't allow gifts or PayPal. Oh well.

 

And absolutely stunning to look at. This is one of the best looking games I've ever played.

 

I know that all LE's and basically copies of BF3 come with Karkland, but I can't believe they plan to charge 15$ for 4 maps. That's exactly what Call of Duty did. MAPS SHOULD NEVER COST. So 3 months post release, people will have to pay, 15$, on top of the price of the game, for Karkland. That is some bull**** right there.

The 4 maps should be free, not a pre-order bonus or anything, just free. They probably will release em free, in like two years...but still, it's pretty lame to charge for maps.

Let us guess... "Back to Bad Company" or something...and BFBC2 maps will be another 15$.

Maps that you have to pay for fragment the community. =/

I get mad stuttering in this game... it's basically unplayable for me on my GTX 285. But I get the stuttering even when I turn all the settings to low and turn off AA, VSYNC, everything... so seems like something different than my card.

I had the previous driver installed but did a clean install of the newest .62 driver and couldn't tell much of a difference because there is a constant jiggedty stuttering.

Any ideas?

 

I just kept hitting space bar, i don't think any timing is required, more like button bashing QTE's

 

Yeah...got it...I guess I figured it would have a passing resemblance to climbing like the previous version...

 

This game is 30% faster in DX11 VS DX10, so your 285 is even weaker due to the lack of DX11. It's also well, just an old card to play the new Benchmark in PC gaming.
