AMD Cat 11.10 Preview 3

same happens to me;-( so i have gone back to preview 2 drivers and everythings fine again gonna wait till next drivers hopefully some new ones just in time for bf3

 

AMD/ATI Catalyst Driver always solved one problems but they will create another two problems come out, so to speak...

 

Installed Preview 3 and now Rage runs perfectly. No crashes and the popins have stopped happening.

 

So do i need CAP's with the 11.10v3? or only the driver? thanks.

 

both as cap profiles are released as separate updates and not included in driver install package

I was trying to just poke fun at AMD's attempts at fixing things OpenGL in the last 10 driver updates I've had four that would bork Quake 3 if they cant even get it to work for Q3 then what hope is there of them getting things right for any other OpenGL game :flip:

 

On the subject of OpenGL, I noticed when I was trying to use a Glide-to-OGL wrapper for Diablo II, the specific wrapper I was using failed to do a OGL test. I think it failed this test on 11.9, but has worked fine on all the 11.10 preview drivers.

Im Getting Very Low Gpu Usage in Deus -Ex Missing Link, and little stuttering any idea is it with a driver or CPu limited....... settings 1600*900, FXAA Medium, Trilinear, VSync On, Tesselation On, Shadow off......

 

i got lower performance with 11.10prev1 too on deus ex... previous driver was ok for that...but frankly this dlc is short and kind of dissapointing

 

yeah completed , around 5 hours of gameplay.......

 

With these new drivers I noticed a small drop in fps in Rage. The game now crashes when I choose triple buffer .

 

yeah Fps drops, but no crashes for me, Preview 2 driver was better......

These drivers are unusable. Anyone else having serious issues with Eyefinity? As soon as I go to create an Eyefinity group and hit apply, it crashes Win 7 and reboots my machine. That is what you call some seriously bad drivers.

 

I notice there are an unusual number of whiners and thing the whiners have in common, they have Nvidia GFx listed in their profile... And not old ones either, but the latest 580/570 etc.

 

They must be confused then, they need to install nvidia drivers.
Silly them for trying to install cats with a gtx card, :stewpid:
