I am wondering when nVidia is going to replace the current GeForce 280.26 driver, since it's been almost a month. :)

Here we go again. Nvidia does not provide any that further than "next month". They will be out when they are out...

they might be waiting for bf3 to be released but if not I hope they do so that they can maybe fix the gpu usage issue i'm having in the game and i'm using the beta driver.

someone asked if its gonna be at ~10th October, ManuelG said nope, but it will be before official BF3 rls..

+ it will contain a lot more fixes and apparently TDR is completely fixed for those that are having it.

Ever get the dreaded: "Display driver stopped responding, but has successfully recovered."? Well, that's TDR!!

Beta drivers are unstable and cause my card to run hotter than normal, that's why I am waiting for the official ones to be released.

BS.... Half the time nVidia's WHQL drivers are identical to the previous beta release. nVidia simply slaps "Beta" on the drivers to denote that they were not WHQL approved at the time of posting....the drivers still go through the same internal testing process as every WHQL set.

Will the new WHQL's include the FPS Limiter? Who can confirm that??

BF despite its bugs, it's already very well optimised.

It would be great if they can apply even more optimisations on both, BF and Drivers.

seeing atm that is the only problem I have with the drivers I wouldn't care much, bug that cause system stablity problems and locks the system and black out monitor and comes back coupled with artifact is more important fix that any game fix

Im anxious to see the changes in the new WHQL driver due before BF3 release.

the FPS limiter option sounds cool. The GPU wont have to huff and puff to dish out 300fps for no reason,,

Also whats up with the AA ,, Im using CSAA 8xAA 16xAF vsync on whats thats FXAA their talking about.
