They delayed it like 3 times already. And doing that would be an awful idea, since they're already under fire for the poor performance. They should have delayed it again, but what can ya do?

What are you talking about in bf3 the FX series even beats out the 2600k at hardcop review also posted higherat this page by me
But hey now they put it against the 2500K! What ever happened with the 2600K from the other slides? And the price is mucho higher than the 2500K. What a marketing mess. 980X? It's discontinued and not meant for gaming.
looks like it time to declare intel a monopoly and break the company into 2. Then we can have some real competition and there wont be any silly 1000 cpu's!
lol i wouldnt worry about it becoming a monopoly just yet. the day that happens, you can bet the US DOJ will step in and do just that. intel is already in deep doo doo with the EU. the last thing they want is the department of justice up their ass.
So the questions are : A) Will bulldozer show more potential in either : i) New software ? or ii)New Revision with higher clocks? B) Would it be worth buying the 3.1Ghz version and just overclock the same as 3.6GHZ version?
I'm wondering if we were all looking at the same review. I saw several cases where the FX-8150 beat the i5 2500K. AMD announced months back that they had no interest in competing with Intel in the high-end market. Entry-level, budget and mainstream segments are where the largest profits come from in the consumer market. These are the markets AMD is focusing on. The department of justice is still investigating Intel over AMD's claim of unfair business practices.
the only thing i saw it do well on was encoding. which is a plus considering that the rest of the benches didnt look so good.
