i bought color screen Samsung mp3 in October of 2004 and a few weeks later Apple announced iPod photo i went back to Best Buy and exchanged it for an iPod and since that never used another brand for portable music player
I'm not a great fan of Apple company and their fanboys, but one can't deny that: Steve Jobs was a great computer visionary and CEO, directing huge corporation and giving it a clear direction. He had a significant impact on how people use and understand computers, phones, music players and online music/video/application stores. Because of success he achieved, he changed the whole industry. RIP
Alright, now I'm pissed. Sucks he's dead, but I just heard CNN said that Steve Jobs "iPhone" symbolizes America as a whole and demoralizes our nation...and a bunch of stuff...like christ, they're acting as if Bill Gates or the President died. Ugh, what the hell man, now the news is saying Steve Jobs was the most important man of the century. "Steve Jobs created the computer industry" So...annoyed. I mean really...say some sad words, but they are saying things to buff him up beyond a simple businessman.
I'm going to say this only once. Each time a person dies some people find it appropriate to bitch and moan in that particular thread and completely go off-topic. If you can not at least respect the dead, then I you will have no place on Guru3D.com, so if I see any more flames / trolling / venting weird stuff -- you will get a permanent ban without warning. It saddens me to see that people have so little respect these days. So if you value Guru3D, please start acting like it.
We always say Say nothing but good about the dead from Latin "De mortuis aut bene aut nihil" Please have respect
Well...May he rest in peace. I don't think people will abandon their smartphones and tablets any time soon so he's been a boon to the tech industry and changed our lives with shiny gadgetry.
Not really. Apple is the reason other companies need to innovate, because time and time again Apple has commercialized tech. which was previously only considered "high-tech". Google it. I don't like Apple products anyway due to the high limitations, but its really fine because not 100% computer users need to know their system's hardware, and that's where Apple fit in. But nothing takes away the fact that Steve was a remarkable visionary. A sad day for us ....
Colbert did a really cool and classy thing at the end of yesterday's report, by just putting his iphone in front of him, on the desk, and saying "good night"
tbh when i saw the pictures of him sometime a go, i knew he would just die soon. he just reminded way too much how my brother was when he died. RIP tho he for sure did help somewhat us tech heads.
Def going to have to see that on demand. And he's always cool and classy. Colbert is considered one of the most influential men in America right now.
