i get this in bf3 (shoddy/letdown)beta and in bc2. i only get it in dx11 tho, if i try dx9 then its back to 60hz.

  2. Oh damn I forgot, they are openGL... albeit it doesn't change the fact which type of programmable shader hardware version it needs.

20gb installation for Rage... gosh their Giga Texture tech will rock...

At last I found... it uses OpenGL 4.2... aww... damn... i do not want to upgrade my pair of 280 till 28nm are out...

Just a thought... how we will be bashing nvidia about crappy opengl support... I've heard that Fermi are quite bad at it... :nerd:

You can correct that by making a manual resolution and set it to range to 60.002 Hz.

Today i got my first issue that the Driver stopped responding. I didn't rly get the mesage itself but while i was in WoW i went back to desktop and couldn't recover WoW currectly. When i checked the Windows Log it said that the driver covered from a crash.

Had it installed since it was posted here.

I haven't played an OpenGL FPS since ETQW. Feels like ages ago, I had a 7600GT at the time. Nvidia have always been a big supporter of OpenGL since it's used heavily in graphics production but games have been few and far between. Right now my only OpenGL games are the Worms series and a bunch of indies, no big titles. Can't wait for RAGE.

  6. Brink wasn't OpenGL too? Last Wolfenstein crap?

Brink is openGL (probably max v3.3), Wolfenstein 2009 SinglePlayer dx9 and MultiPlayer openGL.

F1 2011 crashes all over the place. Disable sli and AA at 4XMSAA max and no enhancing of AA to get the game running without crashes. Also with a 580gtx you should put the replay file on read only (located in programdata folder). This game sucks for stability. Anyone else here having trouble with F1 too???

I haven't played F1 2011 as much as I'd have liked (due to having too many other games to get through as well) but when I have played it it has been 100% stable and I've not had any issues with it. This new game runs well under DX11 without the disappearing rain/puddles bug that F1 2010 had (I'll never forgive Codemasters for not fixing that properly as the workaround they gave just kills the DX11 performance regardless of whether it is raining or not).

Nope, f1 completely stable here. Maybe it's your CPU overclock?
An overclocked system can cause instability even in one game only, I had this issue with Crysis 2.
But I was far from bashing the game for it, it was my own system fault.

Have noticed that these drivers make my videocard run slightly hotter. Anyone else?

    Very Nice.

Improved BF3 Beta and BFBC2 over 285.27 beta.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I'm seeing an issue in Win7 x64, GTX 560Ti with the last couple of betas, and I think it was happening with the 280.26's as well. I have the taskbar set to auto-hide. Sometimes if I move the mouse down to the bottom left of the screen to unhide the taskbar the screen flickers badly. It alternates between a proper screen and a blank grey colored screen. I don't get any game crashes. GPU temps are good. Anyone else seen this?

I have a question for you guys.

I will be recieving 2x EVGA GTX580 soon (Probably Tuesday) and it is my first time using Nvidia (I am fed up with AMD for now, I want to try out Nvidia), and I'd like to know if I should install these drivers once my cards arrive?

Are these good for other games (I also play F1 2011, Dead Island, Fifa 12, BFBC2..) other than BF3 Beta?

Thank you everyone, I am happy to be part of the green side right now. :D
